Both times Ive had e10 errors its required replacement motors :-(. To be fair, first one that bricked went into remission after I cleaned and greased the motors connectors but the inevitable happened in fairly short order. My opinion is they suffer from water ingress which can't be dealt with...

Sorry - did a typo, meant to say boat anchor battery! The EP8 is a good bit of kit in my eyes, bit more power than e8000 and 300g lighter. Not as powerful as others but if you're riding any distance you don't want to kill your range running full power so who cares. The stock 630wh battery...

At least there are a few brands doing the fucking obvious and ditching the boat anchor Shimano motor BATTERY and not cutting all the integrity out of the down tube.

Just treated mine to new bearings, rebuilt shock and fork and another new motor (on my third now). Looking forward to riding it… was feeling a little wooden, all the bearing were seized solid and the fork fooked.

Interesting. For me the 630wh battery doesn't really work... Wh/kg its far worse than the old battery and I've got comfortable enough having a spare in the rucksack most of the time so have a lighter bike + 1000Wh to use.

That was my exact feeling the fist moment I jumped on the 21' bike. I'm only 5'7" and riding a small so easy enough to get to a comfortable position on either bike but they are certainly different.
