i would say there's no need to use inserts just because of the extra weight of an emtb (otherwise all the riders weighting 10kgs more would need to ride inserts, which clearly isn't the case). it much more depends on your riding style, the riding terrain, the tyre itself and last but not least...

Maybe a stupid question, but what on earth makes a fork "ebike specific"? Is it just because the bike is 10kg heavier?? If this is the reason, then it should already have specific forks for different rider weights... so for guys like me, having the weight of a small cow, any normal fork should...

What does the battery diagnostics in the secialized app say? So if you put that battery in your bike, you can't turn it on and the bike's display stays black? Or does that show an error-code? Does the charger flash red if you plug the battery in?

When was that? Because the actual specialized warranty details tell something else (there's a lifetime warranty on the frame for the first owner).

Yes sure, EU law is not caring about frames, motors or other particular bike parts - that's up to each manufacturer. Some (incl. sSpecialized) give lifetime warranty on frames, others don't.

It's pretty easy if you f*** up a jump or a trick or while learning the proper technique.
