I don't mind this, it's a good start. Here in NY you can't buy ebikes that have non-UL listed batteries. Amazon, Wal-Mart and the other big chains won't sell them to you. Local bike shops though... So you can still get them but for the casuals it's getting harder.
Good question. I have a new Rockshox Vivid Air on my PL large that fits fine and the Live Valve Neo I have on my Cannondale is not as fat as the Vivid so probably will work. Understand the hesitation though because of the price. The Neo is a great shock.
The stock aluminum hoops are too soft. Second ride a root dented the rear wheel on a root strike that never affects my others 4 bikes. 29psi, going 8mph (I have video.). Warranty denied. Switched out with Hunt Proven Enduros and no issues since.
It's not a review. Even if you're "comparing" image quality, without sourcing the video yourself you can't really judge it against anything else and be truthful. I mean there are ways around this like just commenting "from what I can see..."
I like to look at reviews from DC Rainmaker as the...
I think the issue is not Avinox at all - it's EMTBs being lumped in with the unlimited amount of cheaper throttle ebikes on the road. In NYC it's the delivery riders. In the suburbs its the kids on Suron clones. Being lumped together is the issue.
I have a Moterra and it's a comfy bike. Pretty sure the reach is less than the Amflow but honestly, you can just change stem/bar config to fix this on most bikes that are "short."
Well bad news, they decided that I didn't have enough air (29psi is plenty!), and the terrain is at fault. Maybe they implied I'm fat. Keep in mind I ride this trail all the time never an issue. Also, the replacement wheel (DT Swiss 1900) has had zero issues on the same trail.
I'm a bit...
Thanks, it will be interesting. Apparently I have to hook up to the USB port to download the data.
In any event, I'm lucky that I have options if they choose to punt on this.
So I was on my second ride with my PL and coming down a short decline with roots. No problem. Ride a little further and rear seems squirrelly. Ah, maybe a flat here. Yep, and it was caused by a dented rim. This is the aluminum hoop the PL Carbon comes with.
If it wasn't just my second ride I...
I get people are worried that Avinox is helping blur the line between throttle bikes and EMTB. What would be nice is if the proper authorities would actually apply laws and rules that already exist. Kids are not supposed to be riding Surrons on roads period and that is where most of the news...
The point was just because there is more power, doesn't mean you get to use it because rules, nor should you. But I'm sorry you disagree with personal responsibility.
