First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

Yeah it would void warranty, but I reckon it could be done. Similar to running a Cascade link which I had on my older AM29. They generally don’t like you messing around with different stroke shocks or aftermarket linkages.

First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

The Shocks eye to eye on both bikes are the same so in theory a 65mm stroke shock will fit, as it does on the regular v5 SX. Would need to check clearance under full compression. Not sure about the cable. Would be a standard part id assume

First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

Yep feels super familiar as the geo is almost the same. Just heavy and requires a lot more body language to move around. Makes my regular SX feel light which is great! Keen to put a 170mm fork on it though and may even experiment with a 65mm stoke shock to make it feel even more similar.

I have the regular SX too and yes it’s difficult to find a good grip if you have to lift it. They’re both very similar which was part of the appeal to me

First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

Here’s mine. Size medium with Double Down tyres, HT pedals, AXS dropper, Hayes Dominions, Deity stem, OneUp carbon bar and Deity grips the changes I’ve made. She’s a hefty girl but rides well!

First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

No. Are you sure NZ did? This release on the 9th of April is the first time any Commencal has been offered with an Avinox motor. Unless the M1s you saw were potentially test mules?

First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

I can confirm at least in Australia that the bikes are available on the 9th for those that had the first pre-orders in. Any of the bikes on the website now that state May/June etc are all the next batch. I can also confirm the Meta's will have the M2S

    New Amflow Models?

They said the battery tech was better - again couldn't give any real info. But yeah it looks a lot slimmer than a bike with an 800wh. Not sure about the 600s.

    New Amflow Models?

Yep, it did look svelte. It was black and barely looked like an eeb

    New Amflow Models?

Can't reveal sources but may or may not have just seen one in the flesh with a M2 motor (with 150nm) and 700wh battery. I'm sworn to secrecy though so that's all I can say!

First Ride: 2026 Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox

Anyone else eagerly awaiting April 9th for delivery of their Meta SX Avinox? I have the Signature on pre-order. Who else is getting one? Keen on seeing what other owners are doing with their builds. I'm a current owner of a V5 SX and the geo is very similar between that and the new Avinox bike...

    Avinox M2 SL

No they’re staying tight lipped. Quoting 800 on the spec sheet but with a disclaimer that specs can change without notice. Im heading in there again on Monday so might press a bit more. 😬

    Avinox M2 SL

Very safe. I pick up my Meta SX Avinox (with confirmed M2 motor) on the 9th. Bikes are ready to go, but they have to keep them under wraps until 9th

    Avinox M2

Check my comment a page or 2 back. I grabbed the shot from a Youtube vid. Not sure how accurate it is, but aligned with my thoughts considering the "s" in the M2S name

    Avinox M2

    Avinox M2

Hey guys, new to the forums. Have a Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox on pre-order, which arrives April 9th after the embargo. Been keeping an eye on this thread because have been told by Commencal that the bike will be specced with the new M2. The figures quoted above are pretty wild! My local...
