From one of the market leaders and (former?) technology leaders I'd expect something around 22 kg, like Unno Mith or Teewing Flux. This whole Levo 4 platform is hopelessly outdated. At least they are trying.

Based on my experience with the Kenovo SL I'd never consider a bike with compromised dropper insertion length like Zendit, Crestline etc. again. Sure you can get away with it but it never feels good, especially if you have a second non e bike with proper insertion length.

This build is really on the lighter side. I think with a 580 Wh battery, 38 or Zeb, Transmission AXS and a sturdy wheelset it will be very hard to stay under 21-22 kg. My size L is around 21,7 kg with parts which reflect the purpose of this bike. The only compromise which I made is Magic Mary...

The beauty on a good designed HP suspension is you even don’t need a top tier sophisticated shock to enjoy the ride. My Slash+ has a basic Float X and I can’t say it feels worse than my V10 8 with factory tuned DHX2. Travel aside the Slash+ with the shitty Float X feels even more magic carpet...

If you want to minimize the drag you can remove the lower pulley. I was riding without it for some time and didn’t experience any negative issues with this setup with AXS Transmission. You have to shorten the chain, ofc Lots of other HP ebikes without a lower pulley as well. Drivetrain...

The Slash + is a great bike park ripper. Sometimes I prefer it even to my SC V10 8. This says something about it’s capabilities.

Lots of good info on S+ in the Facebook group. If you can get a 9.7 for 5K is a no brainer. The rear end is outstanding. I very much doubt you can get this kinematics from a Horst link like on the Vala. The power is good enough if you’re not too lazy.

Got my 9.7 delivered as well. It’s 20.5 kg without pedals with the heavy ass Rhythm fork and SLX cassette. I think with a normal fork like Zeb or 38 and a XO or XTR cassette you‘ll be able to keep the weight at something around 20,5 even with sturdy tires. That’s at least my plan.
