Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

@rabitec (for some reason the forum wont let me reply directly to your question) The Fox X2 custom tune is: CL40, RL50, LMM, Rezi B40, Bleed 0.7, VVCM Its a slightly lighter but linear tune, so more suited to a progressive linkage design. The Rezi tune and bleed valve have also been adjusted...

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

I’m a little biased, admittedly, but here’s my honest take on the Velduro Rogue. I’ve tried to keep it as balanced as possible without slipping into full-blown Velduro fanboy mode… which, to be fair, is harder than it sounds. Enjoy!

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

This review is quite frankly very poor journalism. Just look at the photo's to see the kind of conditions the bike was tested in. There was enough clay stuck to those tyres to keep a potters wheel spinning for the next decade. I'm absolutely sure the bike felt heavy and sluggish in those...

    Article 2021 Vitus E-Sommet – First Look

Basically we need all manufacturers to adopt the Lapierre GLP approach to emtb battery placement. Then the world would be a better place and we could all get on with our lives ?

All of which I'm well aware of but the battery is the only thing I'd be willing to change. It's all a bit of a backwards step isn't it

Each to their own I guess. I thought the weight increase was going to be a massive issue and initially yes it did feel more clumsy but once I adjusted to it I'm kinda fine with it now. Although a 500wh battery would be a better option for me.

    Article 2021 Vitus E-Sommet – First Look

I agree with your previous comment on the EP8. It's super smooth and feels so natural. My large definitely feels shorter than the previous generation. This I think helps to negate the additional weight and higher battery placement. For me it was something to adjust to over the space of a few...

Maybe you're right. I'm hoping to get my hands on a Bosch powered Focus in the near future. I'll have a back to back review in the coming weeks

Article Can you trust an eMTB Motor in 2021?

The original plan was to sell the fleet in the Autumn regardless of mileage or condition, however due to the state of the bike industry we have only been able to purchase 7 new bikes from Vitus this year so the plan is to run a handful of last years bikes until we can get hold of further stock...

In my personal experience the E7000 is the more reliable motor and has shown very few error codes.

Article Can you trust an eMTB Motor in 2021?

Thanks for your feedback. I probably should have made it clearer that I was only covering the problems I have personally experienced during the ownership of the fleet. Whilst I appreciate all ebikes have their problems (something I discussed in the accompanying article) I cannot have an informed...

If you're UK based and ever have a problem again with Shimano get in touch with Madison customer care on 01908 326032. You should be able to deal with them direct providing you can send them proof of purchase.

    Dirt Jumps on an Ebike

Cheers Dobby. It's a real asset to our area here in North Wales. Sadly there's rumours of the whole place being felled in the near future so we are making the most of it while its still there
