Buzzrack Hacks for thick top tube

Yes! You can just about see it on the other photo but the strap is reinforced with metal. Granted I haven’t tested this but feels solid enough. And I feel move confident with this that goes 360 around the frame than the clamps that could be pulled off.

Buzzrack Hacks for thick top tube

Sadly no such luck the Scott’s stem is too wide for the fitting on the false cross bar. A simple strap works for the short journeys, but like having something that locked for those longer car trips!

That does seem like an easy fix! Just ordered and will report back!

Buzzrack Hacks for thick top tube

So the Scott has an integrated rear shock, which while I thought great for protecting from The Surrey hills crud does seem to make access to a tube more difficult….

Buzzrack Hacks for thick top tube

Just picked up my new Scott Patron. All went well until the bike went onto the E Hornet Buzzrack tow bar rack. The top tube is so wide and thick that although the clamp could just about fit over the width top tube because of the depth of the top tube it doesn’t clamp onto a spherical top tube...

The first person I’ve found that has both the Orbea and Scott and the Cube suggested above in stock so will head down to see them all side by side.

Get into EMTB take 2 - Which bike circa £4k

Based on how unlucky I got with CRC, I like the idea of walking into a shop with any aftersales concerns. Aware any company can go under but I want to try and support the bricks and mortar shops as well.

Get into EMTB take 2 - Which bike circa £4k

So after a short stint with a Vitus E-Mythique which doesn’t want to turn on again and with no Bafang service centres in the UK, I am on the hunt for another bike, learning from my past I ideally want a better known brand and mainstream motor. Ideally looking for a sub £4.5k, which I would put...

Vitus E-Mythique LT won't power on.

Anyone who has fixed one of these near the Surrey Hills. I think a wet session in Redland woods might have killed mine. Worked fine during the ride, but now 4 days later when I try and start it up again... nothing. Battery seems fine and can put it in an out of sleep mode. There does seem to be...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

How is everyone finding their bikes so far? For me its been great to get me back into MTB and was a great price point to do so. No modifications to mine just some Conti Kryptotal tyres, and a new stem as it was cross-threaded when it arrived. Taken up to Lake District and Helvellyn and has been...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

This is basically it. it will come out after a few bent fingernails haha and very few marks on the battery, agree i'd rather have a tighter fit for waterproofing purposes. Just don't have power in the garage so take the battery out to charge in-house. Trying to see if I can make a tool that...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Genuinely just stiff to actually get the battery out. Key and the release catch is fine, but to pop the battery out takes quite some pressure. Didn't want to start spraying stuff around there to loosen it as don't want to mess up the battery.

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Anyone else having trouble taking the battery out? Mine gets really stiff and really difficult to take out, any ideas how to help this?
