Hey did you end up finding a solution to this problem? I find that I have a he same issue with the motor cutting out briefly then coming back on. It's usually when I'm in boost mode but I've still had it occasionally happen in other modes.
It was a bit of a pain, they initially wanted me to send back the parts which was going to be pretty expensive to ship as I would have to cover the costs. After negotiating with Jean they decided to replace the parts and I had to pay for shipping and painting which was $65 USD.
Sad day for me and my CEF50, noticed some cracks in the rear triangle and linkage. I thought it may have just been a crack in the paint, so I lightly sanded it to get a better look. Hope no one else has the same issue. I believe my frame is still under warranty, so hopefully SZZS can work out a...
That sucks, not sure how you might remove them, Maybe a drill is you best bet. I snapped one of the shock bolts trying to torque to spec, I found the bolts are quite weak but when speaking to Jean they said they would make them stronger for future. I now use these TI bolts from Ali and they have...
I don't have any major problems with my firmware or battery, I do notice the battery drains quite quickly during rides though I burned through about 70% riding roughly 30km and 2500ft on boost . I have read the 2003.2 FW worked well for a few people that had the 36v system with more power and...
Can anyone tell me whether it is worth buying the Besst tool to tune and update the firmware on the m820? I currently have version CRX30PC3615E102002.3 installed and am trying to figure out if there is much of a performance gain.
I had a similar problem I have the cef50 with the power button on the frame. I went through and checked all the cables and still had the same issue. I got it to start working again but now when I hit the power button on the frame I immediately need to hit the power on the display, if I wait more...
I seem to be having excessive headset creaking I've taken it apart and regressed the bearings but after a few rides it persists. I even reinstalled the bottom cup as I thought it may be the culprit but after a few rides I get the same creaking again. Any suggestions? I'm using the nukeproof...
this happened to me a few times, I use 2 small zip ties on the sensor plugs as collars then another zip tieing them together. Haven't had any more issues. Also make sure there is slack on either end for some play.
The connections mostly, after the first time I made sure there was plenty of slack either side. Then it happened again and I used cable ties to secure those plugs. I went riding today and this time it was the yellow battery connection so I've used a rubber band to keep tension on it. It's a...
