Is this typical this time of year or is an updated model coming soon? I'm thinking of replacing my Levo with an SL.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've never seen the knobs pull away from the casing before. I usually just wear the tread down. The terrain here is pretty hard on tires I guess. I was hoping to get more than 50 rides out of my tires. Oh well, I'll swap this factory tire out for the Maxxis Minion...

I have 675 miles on my rear tire and I'm trying to determine if it needs to be replaced. It's a Specialized Eliminator GRID Trail 29x2.3. What do you guys think? Is this tire going to fail soon or does it have a few more rides in it? I ride exclusively on dry hard pack rocky trails.

Yes, the factory metallic pads are SUPER noisy! At least they were for me. I replaced them with the Shimano resin pads and they are silent now.

I had six broken spokes on my rear wheel in the first month or so. Specialized swapped out my wheels for a new set (different brand/model). No broken spokes since then.

I switched to the Shimano D03S resin pads. They are hard to find. I ended up buying 3 sets from a couple different places over the last month. Four rides so far and they are silent. I broke these pads in just like I did the OEM metal pads but my metal pads were horribly loud.

They actually broke in different locations around the wheel. The reason I know is because they replaced all the broken spokes with chrome plated spokes. No black spokes in stock to match OEM.

They re-trued the wheel after each broken spoke was replace BUT, I'm thinking they didn't back off on the tension for all the remaining spokes and retighten them equally. Maybe that's what you are referring to? I'm not a technician but it makes no sense to me that they would replace the wheels...

I'm actually running higher pressures on my Levo than my prior analog bike. I ran Cush Cores in my analog bike because I used that bike at the downhill bike park. Much higher speeds and loading and much rougher terrain than where I'm riding this Levo. Compared to my Stumpjumper, I'm riding this...

Got my bike back from the shop. They replaced my wheels under warranty. Actually upgraded me to CF! I did my second ride today on the resin pads and they are still silent. Really happy with them so far!

Update: Specialized decided to replace my OEM aluminum wheelset with Enve M635's (carbon fiber). Did my first ride with them today and no spokes broke! WhooHoo. Really impressed with the shop I bought my bike from as well as Specialized. Fantastic customer service!

Mine did the same thing. After sanding/cleaning the pads and rotors multiple times, I finally switched to resin pads. I only got to ride my bike once since then and the brakes were finally quiet. It was SOOOOO nice! But, my bike has been in the shop for the last 3 1/2 weeks due to broken spokes...

I have a 2021 Levo Comp with the Fox Float DPS Performance shock. I've got about 300 miles on it now and after each ride, there is grease or oil on the o-ring so it's leaking. Is this normal or is my shock defective?
