Levo Gen 2 Anyone know how to stop muddy stuff collecting here

Whatever you do, you can’t stop mud and leaves jamming the rear triangle at the moment. Stop and poke it all out with a stick. the topeak defender mudguard works as it fits on the seat post , doesn’t jam the wheel ,with mud and stops your arse getting wet. im having to stop multiple times each...

Levo SL Gen 1 Sorry, it's a do I buy thread

I umed and arrd over the SL and the FF. I went with the Levo . Initially I thought I had maybe made a mistake, as I was riding mostly in eco and even off , a lot as we had mixed groups, and to get a good work out. However, the last few rides have been emtb only , and I’ve been bombing around in...

Whats with all the snobbery around warranty work?

yep , course it is Steve... there's good and bad with everybody, everything. If you don't get on with a shop, its unusual to go back. I still think its unfair buying a bike cheaper elsewhere , then expecting you local to do the warranty work. anyway Steve how's sherwood riding at the moment...

Levo Gen 2 sram derailleur broken- time to upgrade?

And you guess right .... it’s not going to be covered by warranty. £90 for a new unit. New inner cable , and set up .

Levo Gen 2 sram derailleur broken- time to upgrade?

I’ve got one , that looks exactly the same, also trashed three spokes, so needed a wheel build as well. Why the hell is it not on a gear hanger that brakes, not the whole bloody unit snapping off? I didn’t upgrade in case it happens again.......

Whats with all the snobbery around warranty work?

LBS are mostly small businesses, trying to stay in business . I really don’t get the attitude of people who think they are entitled to take them for a ride ( pun intended) over warranty issues. As far as I’m concerned , part of the sale price profit ,is to take care off warranty issues. If they...

Levo Gen 2 Levo limiter and power-off: What is the pedal resistance like?

Well different opinions here. I have a 2020 comp Levo., I often ride it without power , for the entire ride if I’m local, up to 20 km but without any steep hills. If I’m at a trail centre I usually do at least some of it without power and mostly just in eco. Obviously, you feel the loss of...

Protective gear (knee pads, shin guards, helmets, body armour, xyz)

The 7605s are great, saved my hips a couple of weeks ago, didn't even feel my hips after the fall , but they were bruised later that night, one recommendation from me at least.

Knock-Block failed - Trek Rail 9.8 carbon frame damage

All I can say is , after reading this thread , I would never buy a trek or any other bike that has this problem. I can’t understand why anybody would. It’s got to be a design fault.

Knock-Block failed - Trek Rail 9.8 carbon frame damage

Its a mtb , surely it should be designed to crash. Ask yourself : is it fit for purpose:. Im glad I didn't buy one , I washed out last week at cannock on the marbles 3/4 of the way down the last decent of the Monkey. When I managed to extricate myself from the tree stump I landed on the bars...

Review Troy Lee Designs 7855 Armoured Shirt

Well....I well and truly crashed yesterday at cannock yesterday, the front wheel washed out on the loose marbles 3/4 the way down the last decent of the monkey, and I landed on a tree stump at full speed. Couldn't move my right forearm or flex my fingers, today my ribs are really bad. Am...
