Bypassing 25 kph restriction on 2019 Levo

In recent discussion on the subject of running a 27.5 rear wheel in a 2019 Levo (and with huge thanks to @Maastricht for taking lots of time to explain) with regards to getting MC to read correctly then it comes down to the dealer inputting the actual circumference of the wheel. Factory set...

Wanted: Rockshox Revelation forks from 2019 Levo Comp - also dropper post

Not sure where to post this as there is not a 'wanted' section in the buying/selling forum that I can see. But if anyone has upgraded their 2019 Comp from brand new and has a pair of the standard OEM Revs for sale please let me know. Also interested in the 150mm 34.9 OEM dropper too.

New Bosch motors for 2020 - rumours?

Anyone heard anything on the 'inside'? - chatting to a trade friend today he did mention he is attending the launch for the new Whyte bikes in a few weeks and they will have the new Bosch motor. Doubt anything much will leak due to super tight NDA's. Bosch are confident: Bosch plans to set up...

Levo - range extender or upgrade to 700 WH battery?

Upgrade to 700 wh battery seems to cost £700 (£1200 purchase less sale of 500 wh at approx £500). The 252 wh bottle type range extenders appear to be £500. I like the flexibility (ie only fit when needed) and lighter weight of the bottle type but struggle with the pricing given they appear to...

What's the go to rear mudguard for the Levo?

Thinking compact, unobtrusive, neat - but mainly to shield the motor, linkages etc?

Frame protection - mainly top tube?

I noticed on someone's bike on here a pretty cool looking top tube protector (black on a blue frame IIRC) - rather like a motorbike tank protector... Anyone got any links or tips for this sort of thing? It was all Helitape BITD but not wanting to go down the all over Invisiframe route what do...

Anyone paired Shimano calipers with the stock Sram 200mm rotors on the '19 Levo?

As per title really - Shimano go 203 rather than 200 but wondering if anyone has got Shimano's on there with the Sram 200 rotors? I know it can be fettled with some spacing washers but wondering if anyone has done it successfully with the original mounts and rotors?

Do you have a medium or small 2019 Levo? Fork steerer measurement please!

The head tube on both is the same at 95mm but can someone give me the length of the fork steerer please? As it comes from the factory with spacers etc? Thanks!

Levo owners - another 29er to 27.5 question...

Just trying to calculate the actual likely change in BB height on the '19 Levos - can someone measure the actual height vertically from the ground through the axle (ie outer diameter) of the stock 29 x 2.6 tyres please? And if anyone has put on say 27.5 x 2.4/2.5/2.6 tyres F + R (NOT plus) can...

What's the most Levo like EMTB (that isn't a Levo!)?

As per title really. Still in the demoing what I can stage before committing and may hang on to see what news comes of 2020 models (expecting big things from some given how much Specialized moved the game on) but if for whatever reason you could not go Levo which similar (?) bike would you go...

A chat about old school geometry/riding against modern sizing/geometry/handling (Levo content).

[warning - a long intro but could not really get it down in less!]. I'd like to open this up for discussion and get some thoughts from all but especially the older guys who grew up riding the old school way (fully rigid, shorter TT/longer stem, picking lines, not steamrolling etc) and your...

Hi - new guy here - like many I guess - reached 'that' age - time for an EMTB :)

Hi guys, hoping soon to pull the plug on a Levo - 30 years this summer since I bought my first Stumpjumper. Man, where did all those years go! Found this place like others I guess from Rob's superb YT channel. Very pleased to join and a big hello from Sussex. (y)
