Went to cnc machine shop and got 1mm milled out of the Amflow spider and SRAM 38t steel chainring. Also added a spacer to recenter the chain guide. It’s perfect.

I am running a 38t chainring on trek rail with spider and 1mm spacers, can you put a 36t or 38t on the Amflow. Also, I read the Amflow knows what gear is in, If I change the ring does it screw that up?

As the SRAM is reported to be a Brose S-Mag.......few obvious questions 1 Are the connectors the same as the Brose? 2 Will a Brose/Specializes speedbox plug and play? 3 Will speed derestricting screw up the shifting? Any ideas??
