When looking at a mates e160 700 I noticed his doesn't have this spacer between the fork and frame. His is the same model as mine but slightly newer. Oh and his is medium whereas mine is small. Perhaps it's there to adjust the geometry for the small frame? any ideas?

So I've had this bike for 5 months now and absolutely loving it! It's a merida e160 700 2021. Had almost 20 years off trail riding, but now our eldest boy (10yr old) is addicted, I needed something to keep up!
