It is tricky as all the wires run down too but it does slot back into place. The difficult part is splitting the case on the battery to access the internals and reset button. I taped mine after. Patience is the key(y)

I dont think it takes much to to short the battery,mine happened in the cold weather.The set up isnt great with the battery in the frame tunnel. Try other avenues first,i wouldnt like you to go through all the process and it wasnt that.Ive since sold my focus as after seeing the set up lost...

Surprised how easy it was!

Right ok update. Just dropped the motor out, withdrawn the battery and split the casing. The battery looked good showing no corrosion,pressed the reset button and bingo, back in business. Just finishing off and recharging. I’ll let you know how the road test goes👍🏻

I cleaned my jam2 after a muddy ride last week and now it wont charge or switch on,when i plug in the charger it clicks and the light on the bike switch glows bright and then dim.The charger charges the tec battery fine so ive ruled a charger fault out. Any ideas guys??
