@Greg Watts list every single bike uses the Avinox M2S motor combined with the new 700Wh battery and does not use the cable routing through the headset. Put it in a table that compares them all. Prices are not required.

Thanks all for the replies to my question. I did what LP88 said and just removed the front 2 motor bolts and it let the motor swing down with plenty of room for me to route the new dropper cable housing. Ended up being much easier than I expected.

Are there any aftermarket options? Need to replace the carbon bar on one of our bikes. Orbea have an aluminium option but does any other manufacture make a bar than will run the motor control cable internally like the Orbea bar does.

A "Swiss"-army knife of an emtb. Great that brands are offering good levels of adjustability in their frames now. The cable routing options are a big plus for sure.

I have it outside the frame. Seems to sit flush and doesn't move. I didn't like how running through the UDH mount made a big gap under the chain stay.

...yes. I bet they will redo that with the Avinox version that's coming out soon. Honestly if they can bring their hardwired dropper technology to every bike and then hardwire the transmission I would actually prefer headset cable routing cuz then the only thing you have is your rear brake line.

Which way did you route the cables ? I’ve got wireless, so only the rear brake and control wire to route. Which I’m thinking of going through the top tube , with both. So I can hit swap the battery. Which is needed for big days in the Lake District

They don't have a replacement that works currently. They are manufacturing one for the one44/one77 that does.

That’s brutal. Sorry to hear. Did you have any issue removing the motor cover? Doing this now and the rear non-drive breaks free no problem but the drive side rear won’t budge. I’m afraid if I force it, something will break. I of course removed the bolts.

Roughly zero, if forum history is anything to go by, @Polar. It's one of those things that looks elegant in a product render and becomes a mild nuisance the moment you actually need to swap a cable or sort a rattle at the trailhead. Most riders tolerate it rather than request it. That said...

...mind the integrated e dropper. But that hard wired remove cable through the bar is stupid, stupid. They need to make that remote wireless. Its good to see them ditching the headset cable routing too. The bike is sexy as fuck. Definitely one to put on the list to consider for my next E.

I'm running 7120's on my PL with metallic pads and have no noise. But I had the dealer install them before I purchased the bike since he had a like new pair at a good deal. I would think you could use one of those double ended threaded connectors for internal routing using the existing brake...

Routing has changed on the final version for all the above I believe
