@ntm95 Avinox just announced a new bike with external battery attachment of 480wh @ 2.49kg thats another 380g / 0.8 lbs of weight savings. Dimensions are the same as the 600/800, just shorter, however connectors are different. For me this would be the ideal setup and I'm sure it would be for you...

another thought - can you try fitting your other rear wheel with t-type cassette into your e-Dread and see if it still happens? hahah I'm a home mechanic so this peaks my interest. I would even go as far as using the rear mech on your other bikes on the e-dread rear triangle.

echoing what NTM95 said, maybe it is the shop? Time to reinstall yourself! I do wonder how assembled the bike is when they reach the local bike store. @jbrown15 any ideas?

I'm just going to throw it out there - I know it's a new bike, but shit can happen during transportation. 1) Is there any visual bents on the cage? Both X0 and GX rear mech uses aluminum cage 2) Is there any bent (even minor) cogs on the cassette between your gears?

Seems like that linkage / DH modification is allowing them to run 29 in the rear? I could be wrong in estimation, but looks like. I've also tried 2 different Cascade links on different bikes (Evil and Transition Patrol) as well as the existing one from Crestline - I find it's better for the...

I actually discussed this with Plummet on the Crestline thread, but all in all, the lightest setup I can get on the crestline is about 50lbs with the 400wh, With the Dreadnought-e at 600wh battery, I can get it 2lbs lighter. I would gladly take a 400wh battery on an Avinox system to make it even...

I'm trying to target sub 48... same wheelset as you, but different suspension - Mezzer Expert v2 (maybe move to a v2) and a Hover Monocoque. However I will need to figure out if I can switch the 800 to 600.

Hey ntm95, I'm in the same boat as you going light. Got some couple photos? Curious about the rest of your parts - stock t2? Also how's the 600wh treating you? How long are your rides / power mode? etc. Waiting on my t4 S3* which I am going change out pretty much swap out all the parts from my...

I would highly suggest this, but you do lose the shift on the fly feature which apparently is quiet handy. No experience on this feature myself, but very curious.

just want to call that this is completely untested - and only hypothetical. Based on my experience with Transmission and Full mount 13 speed RED - the microadjust feature is not per gear based, and I've adjusted to 70~80% of a full gear change. This should handle the "limit screw" / inboard /...

Honestly SRAM needs to have settings for 9,10 or 11 speed gap options in their app. The mech can handle the range, it’s all software to handle the shift spacing. Wireless rear mechs from the likes of Wheeltop or Ltwoo allows this. Wheeltop goes from 7-14 speed cassettes. If SRAM allow this, it...

You can hack your own right now: 1) DH Transmission rear 2) T-type 90 Cage 3) 7 HG speed cassette (11-34t < biggest I can find)

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

ahh yes - you are correct, they use the pump method and not the dimple.

I think to clear this up regarding the negative volume - it's fixed ratio at a given travel. Dorado air spring is self equalizing just like any other fork out there with the dimple. What does set it apart is the IRT, which is essentially the + or ++ from EXT or Ohlins fork to tune the positive...

From the T4 components, I calculated about net 840g of savings - close to 2 lbs. I got some components that will add weight, but overall lighter, big ones are: Air shock - Intend hover monocoque (150g ~ 1/3 lb) Fork - Manitou Mezzer (450g ~ 1lbs) Cassette - XG1295 (180g ~ 1/3lbs) Carbon...

Did a rough calculation - seems like the numbers provided from PB article is pretty close. I'm trying to target a 48 lbs T4 S3 600wh bike.

    My custom S180

Swapped it to DH setup 190mm Smashpot Boxxer 38s. Really digging this reverse stem craziness - works well with me. Smashed some PRs with this setup. Swapped to a 29er Rear and still corners fast!
