WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

I’m the OP, and no — I’m not changing the title of the thread. If you think what I experienced qualifies as “outstanding service,” then your expectations are extremely low and you’re clearly not looking at this from a business perspective. The cycling world is busy blowing sunshine up AmFlow’s...

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

lol, yeah….na. Actually Ive had no contact from them at all, I just happened to check my bank account today, in my deep depression, and bingo it was there. Maybe customer support will reach out by the end of the week and check as they did say that the money will be in my account by Friday. No...

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

Yes they did. They asked for my order number and looked into for me. To be honest the AmFlow support through the forum were the only ones that got back to me and said not to worry as I WILL get my money back and they confirmed there was an internal glitch. I think because so few people pay by...

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

Yeah my brother had the same experience with Jenson. He rang them from Australia first and they were awesome for start to finish

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

BIG NEWS: I just got my refund after 6 weeks of pain. Thanks to everyone who supported me and did NOT feel the need to tongue lash me about paying via direct deposit. Lesson learned. Now for Flowrider X, there is hope mate, I really hope that you get a good result also. Love the bike, hate the...

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

Yeah look, it’s been well over a month now and all I seem to get is promises of next week blah blah blah, that’s why I posted here. I was surprised that Flowrider X has the same issue in Europe. Problem is I love the PX Carbon Pro and I don’t want any other bike, I just want to pay the retailer...

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

Yeah I’m hearing ya dude. But in my defence not sure about the other guy (Flowrider X), I reached out to a retailer who had the PX in my size and he was happy to send it to me while the refund went through. So technically Ive only paid once for the bike, unlike Flowrider X who has paid twice, so...

And still no refund yet 😤

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

Pretty simple to understand. AmFlow could not supply the bike direct and it looks like we both went to a LBS and now AmFlow won’t refund. Pretty freaking simple. Nothing to do with “still buying their product”, the purchases have been made. Still the best thing I ever bought and probably the...

WARNING - Do not pay AmFlow via direct bank transfer and expect a refund

Holy crap, and I thought I was the only person this happened too. That’s basically what happened to me but I was lucky, the store I actually ended up getting the bike from was happy to wait for me to get the refund. Wow wow wow dude. AmFlow have some massive issues apart from supplying bikes...

Chainring Guard for AmFlow PX, ideas?

Yeah good question. I have the PX with a 38T but I might just buy the PL type spider with the 104 bcd and just add one of the normal metal chainring guards as I don’t think that e-thirteen one comes for a 38T ring

Linkage pivot short / Long for BB Height

Yes. So when you sit on your bike the shock compresses and the BB gets closer to the ground. So make the shock longer which raises the BB further off the ground. We can’t make the shock longer but put the flip chip in the long position (like in my first photo) and this would have the same effect

Linkage pivot short / Long for BB Height

Not talking about moving the pivot point closer to the seat post but the bolt that goes into the flip chip like in my first photo. This make the entire shock and yolk longer. Effectively making the shock longer which raises the BB height. Therefore I’m not saying that the AmFlow Manuel is wrong...

Linkage pivot short / Long for BB Height

Yeah I know but when I lift the bike by the saddle the bottom bracket moves higher off the ground and that linkage bolt moves closer to the seat post thus making the shock/yolk longer

Linkage pivot short / Long for BB Height

Ok I think Ive answered my own question with the help of AI. So my photo shows the linkage in the long position meaning the BB is in the high position.

Linkage pivot short / Long for BB Height

Mmm interesting, this is why I think the Manuel is incorrect. I took those link bolts out and when I lift the bike by the saddle the bottom bracket raises up higher and the bolt moves closer to the seat post. That’s why I would say in my photo the linkage is in the long/high position.
