That seems like some weird behaviour. Mine always (annoyingly) started at level 3. Sometimes I’d have to pedal backwards a little to get assistance from the start but never had a problem like how you describe.

That’s a weird behaviour. If you try and ride with no assistance does it give 4E error on the display? I’d reset the Bluetooth in the app first annd reactivate the bike and if that doesn’t fix it, Hybridizer might need to reset you on their system. I’d also give them feedback (like I have)...
