Seat tube is super short however.

I'm not saying there won't be case of an emtb passing that mark but it won't be the norm. There will still be bikes with this motor in the €5-8k mark.

I don't see why these ECVT bikes will be any more expensive than current bikes. Avinox has actually allowed manufactures yo drop a lot of prices with the M" and M2S motors. Plus with the ECVT you won't need expensive derailleurs and cassettes.

I think that is just because the demand outpaced Avinox's production capabilities. There should be a lot more stock from Aug/Sept onwards.

Sold out because the the inital stocks were quite low. Avinox had to spread out their stock amongst a massive amount of brands so there wasn't a whole lot of bikes available when it first launched. I think most brands will still need a lot of sales to make decent return and that is going to be...

You gotta think this might have an effect on M2S bikes sales? When many bikes aren't set to be delivered until towards end of this year I think many in the market for a new bike might hold on a bit to see what 2027 brings.

Well with the ECVT announcements this morning I sure hope Specialized haven't been working on anything but a ECVT themselves otherwise the Levo 5 will enter the market with the same issue as the Levo 4 did.

I think this is beyond concept in the development timeline. I think this will be on the market next year.

The integration of it on that Canyon is fantastic. I feel sorry for any other brands that had already started developing stuff just to compete with the M2S and now potentially having to scrap that and start over on a CVT. Nobody will want anything else once this hits the mainstream market. SRAM...

I guess Canyon had to do something big after the battery fiasco in order to get themselves back in the conversation. I'm guessing whatever we see tomorrow won't be available until well into 2027 though.

I think if they halved the length of this 480wh one and just used the lower bracket it would look a lot better and probably be fine.
