SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

This is amazing. So with all this info I can finish the link. I'll be creating two versions, one that has a flipchip and one 100% for 27.5 and share the STEP files after I 3d print it and test it. This means that maybe Jean can offer them or anyone can just use a mill printing online service to...

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

That's really useful, thanks! Tbh for what I see it can move at least 5mm that'd mean that BB height would be almost the same as with 29". (is the distance between the yellow lines, both hole centers displacement)

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

Exact, but I don't know how much can that go down. Design looks almost the same as my CEF50 down there, even I believe seatstays are all the same for CEF50, CEF69 and CEF55

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

Green is the one that i'm designing it to be longer/flip chip. But for that to know how longer can be is what patdam say below, need to know what's the limit before the seatstay makes contact with the frame

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

Yes, like how much the link can go back and how much "Larger" I can make the connecting link so it works with 27.5 with the same or almost the same bb height. It can be measured even by puting some painters tape in the shock where it touches the link and moving it back, the difference is how much

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

If someone can remove 1 bolt from the shock and try to move the link as back as possible till the seatpost contact with the frame can you measure me how many mm's could go back between the shock and the link? It is to ensure how much the link could work for 27.5 without interference Will try to...

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

I'm pretty sure this can go way lower if at least 10 are made, but first need to test it 3d printed (I can do it at home), ensure everything looks perfect and then send it to Jean or get a better offer from Xmake

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

Yes, I do have the step for the frame so extending it to a level that the rear triangle doesnt interfere with the frame by going lower. It's hard finding the balance of how many mm's I can move further without interference, cause the real difference is 19mm to keep exact the same BB, best doable...

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

I'm trying to modify it so there could be a yoke with a flip chip to allow 29 or 27.5. I've been checking some CNC pages that they fabricate based on a step file and it's Circa $200, but I believe that number could go down if there's a big order, or also hopefully Jean can fabricate them in...

    New CEF69 bafang m510 and bafang m560 and cef50 bafang m820 frames

Does anyone have the progression for the CEF69 frame? I want to compare it to the CEF50 which is 3.7 at 0mm and 2.45 at 150mm (33.78%, really progressive)

SZZS CEF69 Build with New Bafang M510 3.0 version

If anyone has fusion360 abilities and can help me adding a flipchip to the CEF69 yoke , that'd be amazing. Kind of stuck here (everything's calculated to once flipped keep the same bb height on 27.5) Should add more material just where the outer part of the flip chip sits and replicate the same...

Thinking of a trip to Girona

For sure you'll have way more probabilities of trails in better condition in Tremp and Santa Coloma de Farners. Also, as a possibility since you mentioned you're driving towards it, you could consider doing also Guils de Cerdanya. Depending on how many days you stay it's worth doing more than...

Thinking of a trip to Girona

As mentioned before near Girona the best thing you have is Santa Coloma de Farners, it's just amazing although beware that if it's too dry it'll get tricky, also november is great to go (impossible in summer). Tremp and La Pobla de segur are quite near and both amazing places to go, and if you...

    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

I read them! But with one ride I wanted to first try everything in default without playing a little bit with Torque/Speed differentiation. I need to play a little bit to find what works best for me and will update here, of course i'm not going back to the previous one till I do an extensive test...

    Bafang M820 Firmware thread

@maglo18 Similar sensations over here, Between the new F1 and previous F1 version I do feel that the battery % is more accurate now (13s 48v 10a) but it doesn't feel in ECO and Tour as natural as before, a bit more kick and motor kept spinning more sometimes when im not pedalling. Overall I...

SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

I love the DHRII 2.4 rear Assegai 2.5 front combo and I use it in all my bikes! Maxterra rear maxxgrip front. I got some rides on the FakeTaxi f1 firmware for the m820 and GOD what an upgrade, 100% natural feel, more power and battery lasts longer. I just need to upgrade my rear shock which...
