Charging an Avinox with a Jackery power supply.

Tested again today. This time it was pulling 352 watts. Started charging at 73% after a 400ft climb. No issues. Outside temp was 60. My truck was parked in the shade.

    Bike industry is very frustrating

I am in sales...... You're a douche bag you know that right? You must not make many sales with the way you talk to people.

    Propain Sresh SL Shock Dilemma

Not the SX. That's a terrible motor. The CX. Imo something like a M2s or CX5 can do anything the the TQ can and some. But to each their own. I've also been riding bikes for a long time.

    Bike industry is very frustrating

Except you pay first then wait. So in reality they already sold the bikes. Just need to fulfill the orders. And Propain is killing it in the US right now.

    Propain Sresh SL Shock Dilemma

I ride with two guys on Mid power bikes. Are they lighter? Sure. Do they get you up the hill quicker? A little. At least with the big battery you'll have decent range but you could also be riding a bike that isnt much heavier that gives you the options to ride in low, mid, or high power. Look...

Finalized my top three help me choose!

I vote Vala if you're not looking for a long travel bike. The wild is great but if you don't need a smash all type bike then I wouldnt. I would also consider customer care. Who are you close to? Who do you want to work with? Santa Cruz is a pretty good local company if youre in the states...

    Propain Sresh SL Shock Dilemma

So far I think my Pro10 bike is great. Its poppy, supportive and supple. Doesnt feel like a wall at all. And this is with a Vivid air ult with 4 volume spacers. I hit big features and weigh 200lbs. I need volume spacers in all my bikes. The Sresh is a cool bike but the weight savings arent worth...

    Bike industry is very frustrating

Well in the US there is not a lot of options for Avinox powered bikes. Lets not forget it takes time to assemble these bikes as well. Frames come in on boats. That takes a considerable amount of time. I'm sure no company out there wanted to try and predict future sales volume during a time like...

    Bike industry is very frustrating

True. I sold my Marin Shimano powered bike for super cheap. And it had some decent parts on it. Def awesome for a young rider trying to get his feet wet in the Ebike game. Which is exactly what I did.

    Bike industry is very frustrating

Demand is high for Avinox bikes period. Propain sold out of their first batch of frames in a couple weeks. Also when all these new bikes hit at least in the US, spring riding season was just getting good. I'm sure things will relax come fall.

    Bike industry is very frustrating

I love my new Ekano 3. But they are way booked out right now. OP: this is just how it works. Demand is very high right now. Even something like the new Transition TR11 Dh bike. Sold out instantly. People having to wait a few months to get one. If you wanted a bike right now, look at the...

New Amflow TL / 480wh Avinox RE

Yes. Cut that 480 in half and make the RE drain first.

Do 12 speeds still make sense for full powered EMTB's?

I've had both 11spd linkglide and 12spd Gx trans on a ebike. As far as gearing goes I can't tell the difference. And the linkglide didn't last any longer. Maybe I was lazy on the chain maintenance? Very heavy cassette for Linkglide XT.

    Mondraker Zendit Avinox

Yes I agree with you but he's way better than the average joe. Waaaayyyy better.

    Mondraker Zendit Avinox

Hmm what I got out of jeffs's review was its a race bike and he loved it. The dude can ride so it would make sense it fits him.

    Mondraker Zendit Avinox

I'm curious how this thing rides for the average rider. So far the reviews point towards its a race bike and needs to be ridden hard.

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

What's funny is my last ebike had a Shimano Steps e7000. Which is not a popular older motor. Supposedly rated at 60Nm/500. Which it felt more powerful than that. I never had complaints about the power. The Tune on that motor was very upfront but clearly dropped off as you got going. Which I did...

So I was right about power dropping off?

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

Exactly what I was thinking. What's stopping DJI from dropping "tunes" for any Avinox powered bike.
