Do 12 speeds still make sense for full powered EMTB's?

You are right. I think the 500% bandwith is perfect. Of course, you could spread that across just 11 gears, or even just 10. But the cage would then remain the same length as on the 12-speed version...

Do 12 speeds still make sense for full powered EMTB's?

I have an Avinox motor, and I use all of the gears! We live in the swiss alps, with a lot of very steep trails in the mountains. For longer trails, you cant always use turbo for the climbs, so I definetely use the smallest gear a lot. I had a gen2 Levo befor, with "only" 11 gears, and I...

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

10mm flex inside a carbon triangle? There is no way to get carbon flex this much in that direction. There may be a bigger amount of torsional flex as we would believe, but not in a way that the piggyback would hit the frame when it has 100mm clearance with fully compressed shock!

Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

That would probably only be enough if the whole container were filled with Velduros. The first row is just about enough for my local shop, LOL :)

Unno Mith released with DJI motor, 800Wh battery

Has anybody measured the maximum seatpost insertion length on an S2 size Unno Mith? Is a longer dropper as the standard 180mm possible??

    New Amflow Models?

That's the screw for the internal 600wh battery... The 800wh battery is secured with a screw from the top, accessible when you remove the display unit. The 600wh battery is secured with the screw from the bottom.

    Thömus Oberrider (Avinox high-pivot)

Prices start at 5.5k and may go up to around 10-12k... You have to choose individual parts for everything. Wheels, suspension, dropper, bars, pedals, everything. The wheight will then also change with every part you choos. Minimum wheigt with lightest parts an 600wh batterie is around 19.2 kg if...

    Thömus Oberrider (Avinox high-pivot)

Afaik one frame broke in this area, and then they reinforced the other frames for the testrides. Problem should be fixed for the real release, but I would have an eye on that!

Pfff, there is no fox suspension for the ST model… so bad.

    Thömus Oberrider (Avinox high-pivot)

You can choose between different droppers. Normal ones or the 8pin system… There are some problems with the high pivot pullys with the pre production frames

    All bikes using Avinox Motor

Don't worry, I still like my Unno best by far. But the Oberrider looks really good in real life and has an extremely slim silhouette! The down tube looks even slimmer than that of the Lightrider_Emax, which is supposed to be the lightest e-MTB in the world with the Maxon Air S motor. Thömus...

    All bikes using Avinox Motor

I only saw the silhouette, and it looked very slim for an e-bike. I've also heard elsewhere that Mondraker is planning to release an Avinox bike. I'm just generally interested to see what else is coming with Avinox drive systems. Thoemus' Oberrider bike was finally available to view in person...

    All bikes using Avinox Motor

I just saw some pictures that somehow lead me to believe that Rob has an Avinox Mondraker bike to test. What do you think about that, Greg?
