Even Ollie at Forbidden prefers the 600 battery in the new dreadnought...which is funny because you can't buy the bike with the 600. I personally want the 600 for the lower weight and handling. I plan to down tune the motor and eek out more range and use the quick charging on bigger days.

This is what scares me a little buying a bike before hopping on it. The Large is very close in numbers to my current S4 enduro which I love so I'm hopeful the Wild will be a similar fit. But at 5 ft 10in, I'm sort of between sizes which is always fun 🤣

Has anyone in the States been able to pre-order a bike or are they only accepting pre-orders in Europe? Need to talk with the Orbea dealer here but they are an hour away so figured I ask here first.

I hear you on the weight but they did some magic with the Rallon RS and seem to have figured it out. Keep in mind the higher end models will have all carbon bits (wheels and cockpit). The 21 kg weight (in my understanding) is a Large with mullet wheels and a 600 wh battery. Could be wrong...

That weight tracks with my thinking. The Rallon RS with a 38 came in at 18.1. The weight difference between the TQ system and the Avinox with a 600 wh battery is around 2.9 kg.

Were you given any indication about the overall weight of your build?
