    Avinox M2s rattle

yep, I agree, it's very quiet and doesn't consistently rattle on every bump like the m1, and even when it does rattle it's much quieter than the m1

    Avinox M2s rattle

Exactly, reduced not silent. I hold my hand up to not fully reading that before selling my PL Pro to buy the PX pro, and whilst the m2s is def quieter it’s not totally silent. Do I regret the change because of that, no, it’s still much quieter, smoother and more efficient, but any prospective...

    Avinox M2s rattle

They do not say that (totally silent) they say noise is kept below 45 I think i recall - The Avionix M2S drive unit was specifically optimized to reduce sound, with a sound pressure level not exceeding 45dBA. Don’t get me wrong, I would love my m2s to be totally silent, but it’s not going to be...

    Avinox M2s rattle

It will be a mass produced motor in a factory where during assembly a big glob of grease will applied over the gears, that will distribute and thin down slightly after some miles.

    Avinox M2s rattle

Indeed, but as it says… ‘reducing’ pedal kickback noise… not removing kickback noise…

    Avinox M2s rattle

The noise generated in that video is 100% going to appear on all motors to some degree, that is simply backlash in the gear sets which cannot be removed without removing all tolerances from the gears and having a gearset which wont turn. The reason some people hear it after a few rides is the...

    EMTB prices are plummeting.

I sold my PL Carbon pro once the PX Pro came out and I placed an order, the market literally crashed overnight because of the PR and new motors coming out, a month before I sold mine the same bike was going for 2k more. When someone can buy new bikes with 800w batteries and the M2 (and sometimes...

    Avinox M2s rattle

Mine is near enough silent when actually riding, you can invoke any free play in the gears by taping the crank arms when the bike is stationary but any gearbox will have to have some movement between gears to even work. So hearing that doesn’t mean the motor has an issue. If it’s really rattley...

    Avinox M2s rattle

Will specifically says 'less motor rattle' not no motor rattle Rob also says 'Virtually Silent' - not silent I cannot see how it will have zero backlash noise without a clutch to disengage?, mine is virtually silent, I can reproduce some noise by tapping the crank arm whilst holding the...

    Avinox M2s rattle

my m2s motor has slight backlash noise if you tap the pedals or for example remove the chain and rock the chainring back and fourth - tbh I cannot see how any gearbox which doesn't have a clutch or similar to completely disengage the gears will not have some backlash noise... The extra changes...

New bike - PX Pro impressions

Thought I would spin a thread on the new PX/Px Pro - I have had my Pro for 3 weeks, initial impressions are: Def a step up from the PL Pro I had in every area, ride is nicer, Suspension compliance is much better, no doubt the latest fox 36 helps as it is much lower friction off the top, but...

So frustrated that i didn't wait for the PX

I can only comment compared to the 600w and obviously the 700 is much better. What I can say is - like for like, with the same components on the bike - the new PX Pro weighs the same as my old PL Pro - which is def a bonus - bigger battery and new motor

So frustrated that i didn't wait for the PX

I just got my PX Pro, i had a PL pro (600w) and sold it to get the PX pro On the PX.. The PX is a better bike in every way, the suspension is more compliant, changeable Geo is a win, i run 29 all round and the stays in the longest setting, it climbs so much better than the PL, that would be...

    Amflow general questions and answers

Yep, same for me, I contacted support and apparently they fixed it and it should not request the update for the same software version now, however I have just seen a update for a new version - 01.03.120 - but cannot find any release notes on this version - has anyone installed this update ?

    Amflow general questions and answers

I hope not as I am planning on doing the same !, actually it must work as a chap on YouTube put a M2s into a bike with a M1 and only replaced the speed sensor, not the ring

    Motor upgrade to M2s

Really intersting that this chap got sent just the M2s motor and switched it with his M1, and he only needed to change the speed sensor. I would 100% buy the motor upgrade. I love my PL Pro, and if I could get a totally silent motor it would be perfect, I don't need more power, but would def...

New Amflow PX April 9 specs

haha, fair enough - did it look much different from the current model ?, for example based on what your saw would you consider an upgrade ? ;)

New Amflow PX April 9 specs

Rob's latest video on the Mondraker Zendit has the new system, battery and motor, you can see how much slimmer the down tube is due to the new battery. The things we can expect will be lighter and more cell dense battery, hence smaller down tube, and I would expect the new motor to be rattle...

That’s the first thing I tried. I am guessing their Meta data in the backend is somehow messed up 🤷🏻‍♂️
