    Bike industry is very frustrating

As above, I'd just find a bike locally. The motor is only part of the bike/experience and shouldn't be the only thing to focus on. Nothing wrong with Bosch, or even Shimano (I love my "old Tech" EP801 equipped 2025 Orbea Rise LT). FFIW I originally wanted a Levo 4 too but the alloy models were...

    Bike industry is very frustrating

Is the TLDR that you do or don't want an Avinox bike?

Wooosh! That went right over my head :D

What did you buy your ebike this week?

I'm in Scotland yes, but Peaty's is a UK company so easy to order online or pick up in store from bike shops (my local only sells Muc-Off though, which I don't like).

Do 12 speeds still make sense for full powered EMTB's?

I'd be happy with 10spd to be honest. When my 12spd XT/SLX components wear out I'll definitely be looking into Linkglide.

How are you lot washing your bikes without contaminating your pads and rotors?

It's this one... I just direct the degreaser nozzle onto the lower section of the chain plus a light squirt on the cassette then use a chain brush. No reason to get it anywhere near the rear brake. Loam Foam is good. Brake friendly 👍

How are you lot washing your bikes without contaminating your pads and rotors?

I don't wash my bike much but when I do I spray the whole bike with Peaty's Loam Foam or heavily diluted wax-free car shampoo (Auto Glym), degreaser on the drivetrain if required, scrub it with a brush, rinse it off. Never had an issue with contaminated pads. In winter I just dry and lube the...

    Fold up ebikes.

My mate just got an ADO Air Ultra. Its pretty cool, although not light. I think they do a carbon model though, the ADO X maybe.

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

@Rob Rides EMTB would you buy a Wild LT with your own money, vs all the other ebikes on the market? Full fat bikes aren't for me*, I'm just curious. Maybe you cover this in your video but I haven't had time to watch it yet. *The H10 model probably would be close to the top of my list if I was...

    New Megamo Along

As a gravel-dabbler I do like it, but not sure I'd want one for the UK. It's bad enough bouncing off the 15.5mph limit when riding an eMTB on the roads or flat(ish) offroad surfaces, so I imagine it would be much worse on a gravel bike where it's easier to get up and maintain speed. Having said...

It was included separately in a bag of parts (reflectors, bell, etc) with my Rise. I expect it will be the same for the Wild.

    Pic of the Day

My last two bikes have came set up fully tubeless. All I had to do was adjust tyre pressure to suit. Setting tubeless up yourself for the first time with new wheels or tyres can be faff (not always) but it's better than the hassle of patching or changing a tube at the side of a trail...

    "Official" 600W Update For EP801-RS

I think Shimano see it as "tampering" if you use third party software, regardless of what you're trying to achieve. I wouldn't want to give them an opportunity to be nit-picky over a warranty claim if they decide to go through the log files. I rarely find myself using the bike above 45nm unless...
