    Avinox Reveals its Motor Gearbox

Just pointed out for obvious reasons why Bosch bikes don't need to be 'auctioned off' implying they are such shit compared to Avinox. It's such a DJI fanclub around here not one person pointed out how obviously silly that is except me, which then gets me attacked. What a joke. Anyways, back to...

    Avinox Reveals its Motor Gearbox

It was literally a direct response and I quoted someone saying that the Bosch bikes should be sold at extreme discounts. Just pointing out what should be pretty obvious.

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

Tire casing, battery size? Are you saying with the bottle holder? Or do you mean an actual full water bottle. Either, way this is about what I expected. Congrats on the dope bike!

    Avinox Reveals its Motor Gearbox

Would you rather buy a used Gen5 or an M1/ M2 Avinox in say 3 years? If you have common sense, you'd say the Gen5. It's about long-term parts and service availability. Not to mention just overall reliability. I suspect that as the product turnover at Avinox is very rapid, and obtaining service...

Amflow PL Carbon owners, check your seat tube for cracks!

I'm going to have to stand up for Amflow on this one. Every manufacturer has had frames break, many offer incredible nearly lifetime warranty replacements. Let's give Amflow a chance to rectify this situation on the legally sold units. As far as Amflows bought through non-authorized channels...

Rail (750Wh) Trek - New bikes this coming week

Probably years. Whether I marry this woman or end up dating again, they all ask to go riding with me and I never have a bike that fits and none of them can pedal really strongly anyways. A light duty e-bike like this is a really good fit, I feel. It won't matter to them if it's outdated and in...

Rail (750Wh) Trek - New bikes this coming week

Yah, the size small just came back in stock this morning and I already bought it. It's $6K, normal was $8.7K. Also, my local electric company provider provides a $600 rebate so that's $5400, for a new CF e-bike with what I'd consider an ideal trail bike motor, especially for a small person. I...

Rail (750Wh) Trek - New bikes this coming week

I can tell you that I tried to buy the EX Plus 9.7 for my girlfriend in a size small and it was heavily discounted and I didn't buy it about 3 days ago and now it's not available. I regret not pulling the trigger. Basically the new price was less than I'm seeing comparable bikes for used.

    Wild TR announced

I don't know if that's a thing because when I ordered mine back around February and it was just a large in a standard color I still had to wait two and a half months to get it actually manufactured.

    Bike industry is very frustrating

I don't know how true it is but I have read something along these lines more than once with Avinox. There were some stories told about some shops in England that had Avinox bikes stacked up awaiting replacements and parts for months in the M1 days. The truth is that a possible lower reliability...

Bosch power chewing up chains and cassettes

My stuff is all correct, set up, etc. I have three brand new X01 Eagle chains and wax them and was getting sizing correct and all that. This one went on about 2 mi earlier. I was in turbo mode which was accidental and in full on attack mode and stomped on it in about 9th gear which was a bit off...

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

It gives me 'Unno Mith' vibes but with better dropper insertion and suspension design. Love it.

    Wild TR announced

Makes sense as they already have the frame molds, the motor is dead silent, can be pedaled when turned off or dead, very reliable, etc. Would be really cool if they offered a factory Weight Weenie version. Would be easy to get it to 45#s and that would genuinely stand apart from the new Avinox...

Current Avinox MG Prototype Bikes Don't Support Battery Regen

I don't see anyone moaning, in fact everyone seems to be hoping it's badass, me included. However, some of us have the experience of life that has left us pretty aware of the marketing machine. Furthermore, some of us are still rather attached to the mechanical simplicity of the traditional...

Bosch power chewing up chains and cassettes

You misunderstand, but that's fine. My stance has not changed that e-bikes should remain legal if sold as Class 1, even if I think there is room for evolution of the LEGAL definition.

Current Avinox MG Prototype Bikes Don't Support Battery Regen

They are cool, and I honestly hope that I am incorrect, but I feel like they (they = CVT e-bike motors & bikes) are going to show up weighing 57#s with an UN-bicycle like feel, poor efficiency and a disconnected sensation. There is no denying that e-bikes are on the path of becoming little...
