Can We Please Stop Attacking Each Other & Being So Defensive Because We Have Different Opinions!

NO! Go f*** yourself!!! :ROFLMAO: Not only will I have different opinions to you and others, but clearly everyone else's opinions are wrong and worthless. Moreover, I will insist on repeating ad nauseam the same old worn statements more or less verbatim on every single thread regardless of...

    Avinox Reveals its Motor Gearbox

You may be right but remember they're saying this is only currently a "concept" motor. That's one step down from a "prototype", so there's still quite some development to go before it's ready for production. But who knows? They do move fast! I was looking for the absent welds on the...

Rail (750Wh) Trek - New bikes this coming week

That's a big discount, but interesting that only the EX 9.7 model is discounted across the whole range. That doesn't suggest that there's something going on or something new arriving that impacts the Fuel+ model in general.

Rail (750Wh) Trek - New bikes this coming week

As a matter of interest, what was the % discount?

Might a TQ HPR90 announcement be imminent (June at Eurobike)?

    On this forum? Surely not!

    Avinox Reveals its Motor Gearbox

Yes it was clever, but wasn't it just a derailleur in a box above the chainset? Not exactly new technology.

    Avinox Reveals its Motor Gearbox

Everybody loves the intense pace of development and new releases by Avinox, except of course those who've just bought a new bike! Cake and eat it? I wonder if in a few years time we'll all be chastising Avinox for their latest new thing because our garage is full of out of date bikes that we...

    GOBAO ECVT EMTB Mid-Drive Motor

But then you get people who've removed their bottle mount screws from the downtube and claim the weight saving "high up" transforms their heavy tank into an agile gazelle! :)

    GOBAO ECVT EMTB Mid-Drive Motor

I enjoy riding my SL because of its lack of power! Just an outlier I guess

    Trek Rail - Gen 4

Your experience and design will be different to mine if you're using a 500Wh battery rather my longer 625Wh. However, I would advise that you knock up a quick prototype first which will allow you to see where the insertion and removal issues arise, and to fine tune the precise positions for the...

    Avinox lands on Mars!

Breaking news.... Avinox has beaten Musk to it and landed two bikes on the red planet! Is there nothing they can't do??? Just wondering how far this could run before the fanboys spot the BS. :ROFLMAO:

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

I think you might be mistaken there. On the Orbea website it shows the M10 comes with the "Orbea system controller remote" and the Team version comes with the "Orbea system controller with eDropper remote". The M20 shown coming with the Avinox BC100 remote.

    Trek Rail - Gen 4

Maybe I should get cutting out my closed cell foam sheet. That won't creak!

    Trek Rail - Gen 4

You could save another 300g by removing the aluminium battery cover (it's also aluminium on carbon framed bikes). How many sausage and egg dinners does that equate to? :ROFLMAO: Of course you'd have to find something to fill the hole. I've considered cutting out a panel from some closed cell...

    Trek Rail - Gen 4

When I removed the lock over a year or more ago I don't think Rolph was still selling the 3D printed adapters that irie bought. I just made my own from a right angle steel plate that you can buy from a DIY store and then welded on some nuts to take the two frame bolts. I glued a piece of inner...

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

Ironically, as I understand it, when Bosch set about designing their latest batteries they consulted with the bike designers who all said they wanted a shorter battery so that more weight could be kept low on the bike. So that's what Bosch delivered and then Avinox came out with batteries with...

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

How do you know it's because of the "fake 750W cap" and not simply because they love the bike and that's the motor it comes with?

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

All very good points Rob and well put. Maybe I'm a dinosaur heading for extinction but I have chosen to buck the trend for the numerous excellent Chinese EVs on the market and have just bought a Renault 4 electric plein sud (with sun roof). It's totally manufactured in France with french...

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

In the interviews I've seen with the Orbea designers they say that they moved from the Bosch CX motor to the Avinox because the smaller form factor of the Avinox allowed them to place the chain stay main pivot lower down in order to achieve the anti-squat they were looking for. But when you...
