we do 17-20nm with blue loctite. never had an issue. this was after breaking a few with a left hand specific torque wrench.

Both of ours were connected to the software and got enabled under modes... Trek just didnt have it enabled by default. This was on Gen 5's. May not be available for other generations

Finally got to Properly Try the advent MX Pro setup. Its really damn sharp and solid, You can dump gears and it just glides through. No more Big S's for me.(except for the Linkglide chain) Also got some locked-in bar ends to try at some point.

Honestly Im really interested in one, They stuck to bosch an gave us back a more normal routing. Merida's frames I've had in the past were some of the best quality i've seen/owned Bonus they stuck with bosch as im not interested in supporting the power race.

The gen 5 did not ship with EMTB+ active, It must be plugged into bosch software and be activated. how do I know? i asked the same thing and my shop plugged in and turned it on :)

The Amflow will only give limited help due to its leverage setup and 150mm travel. But a Coil like the EXT that is tuned for what you want(they do this) Tyre setup will play a big role such as casing and Pressure. Look at Chain options aswell that assist with pedal kick and with that, Try a hub...
