Been running them for a year on the Reign taking all sorts of abuse and they are 100%. Crank failure is rare to non-existent unless they are made of carbon.
Quick update:
New frame built up (green). Interestingly it comes totally naked, every grommet and screw has to be moved across. It doesn't even come with the battery cover.
The bike started as a +1 and between the new frame and warranty factory X2 looks like a ghetto +0 now!

Think mine might be on the way out after 1.5 years. Going into Giant on Wednesday to be looked at.
With the various cracking issues has anyone ever seen or heard of the frame breaking at that location. I haven't.
Also dented the rear after a couple of spins. Tried an insert but was such hassle when I had to deal with tear in the tyre that I binned it, and now just run downhill Assegais which are seriously strong.
These are made of carbon, they are black, bar shaped and cost €150.
Immediately noticeable improvement in comfort, hands less sore after long descents.
Highly recommended.

Tried Continental Kryptotal DH tyres, slashed the rear a few spins in, not impressed. The are lighter and roll better than the Assegai but are simply not as strong.

Has anyone installed a Cane Creek Viscoset to their Reign? MBR ran one and said it was a great upgrade which made the steering less 'skittish'.
Would be interested to hear owner experiences and also which size headset is required?
