Trouble with direct sales is, you are just one person buying a bike.. 6k is a lot of money to you or me, but not yt. When a shop buys from a manufacture, they may buy 2 - 3 hundred bikes a year. So when you get an issue with a shop bought bike, they have a larger sway with the manufacture on...
Why would you ride without one.... I don't get it.
You look better?
It messes your beautiful hair up?
After spending a few grand on a bike you didn't have £40 odd quid for a lid?
I ride my ebike for fun... Same as Gary, iv ridden dh bikes in the 90s that were mid 40lbs and other than a week in the alps we pushed and rode those bikes up hill. I was most fit a decade ago when I was riding my 32lb trail bike 3 to 4 times a week and hitting the gym for overall strength...

Mate just got his new canyon on 2 weeks ago.... The 3900 quid version...very nice bike... . Iv not mentioned this too him.... Don't want to see him cry!
My local trails are the Essex flats and Surrey hills, so I run the maxxis 2.8 minion and high roller that came with the bike... But the schwarble Eddie current are my lake district tyre. Last summer I had about 10 flats on the maxxis in 3 days, without tubes and with them on a ride where the rip...
There is no real criteria. We have a family business but I am paye, so thought I would give it a go. Call up Green commute and they will help you out. I found a shop up north who told me about the scheme... Thought it seemed to good to be true, but its really simple. I got a third off my bike...
Just thought I'd post this... Canyon now available on green commute. I have used this scheme for my bike and its pretty simple and they were very helpful too.
When I used to go I would just follow large groups.. This was pre ebike though.. .. As r120 said if you park, then hang around walking bottom, you get loads of riders going out between 8.30 to 9.30 am..
