    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

So the hottest battery tech out there is the M58T "new" cell ?💥

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Follow up. Looks that would yield 5.8A as well.

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Sorry is it an LG/Samsung/Panasonic and what amp/capacity? The vid guy says the 21700 5.8 A cell yielding 16% more juice overall and is newer chemistry. 🤔 Yet, I see a Samsung 8.6A out there. Wondering how our new our 21700 cells battery would stack up (given same motor Voltage and battery...

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Does anyone with our CEF50 frame and big 720Wh battery know what type of 21700 cells that are being used? SZZS and Linda are on holiday which is too long to satisfy my curiosity before I lose interest.😁 For better context, watch the short vid below on "new" cell chemistry before chiming in...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Hopes only fit the M820...it's ISIS compatible fortunately. 👊 (No other Bafang motors like M600/510😔). I have a M820 emtb.💪

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Looking slick overall! What's your travel, 160/150? If so, could you over-stroke rear? Also, good brake/rotor combo💪 (IMHO). I run Saints and Hope 220s for no-fade breaking! Some sweet, black, Hope E-cranks are a nice and light aftermarket upgrade over stock. They're killer and half the price...

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

I'm no material scientist but apparently a few aftermarket carbon bash guards seem to be OK on Specialized Kenevos and Levos for both carbon and aluminum frames. Sure they'll be more expensive than plastic, but this is the 3 rd attempt by SZZS to get it fixed. So, I was advocating for carbon...

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

So same hardware (BEEST tool). Just different firmware: Pro vs. "standard"?

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

So the BEEST PRO allows power tuning then? But not the regular BEEST?

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

It's been almost a year ago, but I went to Bafang-e.com website and then to BEEST tool drop-down menu to request a secure password. Bafang emailed it a day later if I remember correctly. My understanding is that the GO+ Bluetooth (V3) on the DPC 245 display is the only device that allows power...

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Not sure honestly...I needed it when I had to replace M600 controller and flash it. Bafang is improving, but still behind Shimano a bit.

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

I think the BEEST tool only lets one recalibrate a new controller. Also, check battery voltage. The BESST -pro for the LBS they do speed adjustments and also clear error codes...still limited.

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Just as long as it works as advertised.👍 Would hopefully be an improvement over BEEST at the very least.🤞

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Linda said will be ready later this week!🤞 (No price for upgrade yet). Stock has shredded my dropper cable as expected. And water ingress for headset creaking. 🫣

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Yeah, wise to wait before dropping another $100 unnecessarily.💸

Is that Anna at Greenbikekit on AliExpress?

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Sorry to rehash the Bluetooth/GO+ for tuning characteristics. Anyone have this DPC 245 display below? Just curious to get some real-time feedback from those that have it. I'm good with my factory setup but wondering if it's worth the investment long-term.🤔

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

I'm satisfied that the 210 x 55 works...at least for me.😇 No paint flaking in the past 5+ weeks since the touch up paint with the correct custom Ti pivot bolt and the main pivot bolt issue The OEM bolt was 10 mm too short and the mating screw (2 of them) kept sheering off causing paint flaking...

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Hope cranks 155 standard offset, ISIS compatible.

    M820 Bafang - CEF50 frame (lightweight)

Well done and comprehensive!🤛 I think I'm going for the Nukeproof headset top cap now that I've seen it in use...I got some water ingress last camping trip while driving my truck in the rain at 75 mph (was in my open truck bed standing and racheted down like a moto😝). I forgot to put a piece...
