Has anyone changed to a 29inch rear wheel on their slash+?

The analogue slash has the option of running 27.5 or 29 inch wheels by chnaging the lower shock mounts, but for the electric slash+ trek don't officially confirm it can be done, presumably because it would mean the motor cut out speed would be slightly increased.

So does anyone know if it's possible to use the lower shock mounts from the analogue slash to allow a 29 inch rear wheel to be used On the slash+?

Answering my own question here, but according to the Facebook slash+ page it is possible to use the 29 inch wheel lower shock mounts from the regular slash on the slash+

Will you keep the rear mudguard or does that need to come off? I thought I had read somewhere that the rear triangle and other bits like the shock mounts are exactly the same with the analog Slash, so I wonder if the rear triangle works just fine with 29 with the mudguard.

On the analogue slash, trek say the mudguard needs to be removed to fit the 29 inch wheel, but it seems that some people haven't needed to do this, so I guess it varies depending on the exact wheel/tyre combination.

I'm still undecided whether to try it with a 29inch wheel.

Just commenting here for posterity as I recently tried it: A 29" rear wheel with Maxxis 2.4 DHR-2 in my 24 Slash+ does fit, without removing the mudguard, and with zero clearance issues. Obviously this does raise the BB by ~6mm without swapping the lower shock mount (or using an offset bushing), but it wasn't a drastically noticeable change.
