This just arrived, first Mondraker and first ‘full power’ bike for me since I purchased my 70Nm Shimano Focus Jam 2 back in 2019.

Looking forward to giving it a go over the weekend, but it’s going to live with me at my away work location so that I can ride in the evenings (close to a national park in the UK). I agonised between black or the orange, but a lot of my bikes are black or grey, so thought I’d have a change.

It arrived with the latest Bosch software, so can select the 120Nm/750w, so looking forward to finding where I want to be with it.

Awesome bike and obviously the correct color choice! Enjoy your new ride.

Cheers man! 🙂

Looking forward to the first ride, albeit it won’t be the terrain I’ll be planning to ride it on.

Great looking bike. And fat downtubes rule, OK?

Why?

Because when compared to a thinner longer battery most likely the battery weight is carried lower down and more towards the centre of the bike which improves handling. Function before fashion.

Ask @Stihldog how his bike handling changed with a 500Wh battery ;)

PS Our 2022 alloy Trek Rails have the locks deleted with bolted in 500Wh batteries. Handle great especially with DT Swiss HXC Spline One 29" wheels.

Sick bike man! Look forward to the review. Did it come with a zeb and a fox float?

Yep, came with the Fox shock and the 160mm Zeb Base Rush RC, which I’ve not heard much about but hopefully will work well for the chunkier rides I have planned. 👍

We've got rid of all the air stuff:

- Vorsprung Smashpot V2 coil forks (Lyrik ultimate 160mm D1)

- Ohlins TTX22M.2 shocks

- Oneup V3 droppers

Got a collection of air pumps gathering dust somewhere in the garage. (y)

I’m thinking about getting a 600Wh battery as well, I’ve got a 250Wh power more extender for my Bosch SX, so that would work well with it and give me options.

It’s 24.3kg with the removable 800Wh and the stock wheels, tyres and tubes, so could take nearly a kg off that with the smaller battery.

This isn’t a weight weenie bike though, it’s for some after work evening rides around some higher ground loops, so will ride it stock for a while until I know what if anything I want to change out.

I’d love an Öhlins setup, keep pricing it up on the TF Tuned site, but then go do something else! 😂

Looks great and I'd have the same thoughts over colour, my levo is black so would probably go for Orange as well. 😃

Great bike. Love the Crafty. Bet you got it for a steal too.

Let us know what the SRAM 70 shifts like. I had the 90 before upgrading to AXS S1000. It it shifted so sweet. But I would recommend the AXS upgrade regardless.

Enjoy (y)

Very Nice bike, I don’t notice the downtube. I am looking at one of these at the moment as can pick up with decent discount. Let us know how you get on with it. Enjoy

30% off in a few places right now, good value at that I think.

Had a 12 mile/1hr shakedown ride today, nothing too testing, but set the tubeless up this morning and been messing with suspension settings.

First impressions are it’s mad powerful in Turbo in max settings, effortless up really steep stuff, and the -2 dynamic setting in Turbo really helps with traction on loose chute climbs.

Initial things that pleased me were how the motor feels completely disengaged when off, I easily pedalled it to 20mph on the level terrain, which I didn’t think would be a thing.

The other thing was the complete silence on descents, all I could hear was tyre noise and suspension squish noise, the cable management out of the box is very good with sleeves and foam in all the right places.

Won’t be able to get it on any actual mountains for a week or two unfortunately, and it’s covered in this strange brown stuff now, dust I think they call it? 🤣

Nice looking bike! I just got a Levo Turbo 4 Comp in Orange a few months ago and I get comments all the time on the color. People love the orange color. I also like the two tone with the orange and grey. I was a Maxxis rider for years and switched to Schwalbe Gravity radials this year. That is the first upgrade I would do.

Yes, I’ve got a set of Schwalbe trail radials on another bike, and I’ve been impressed with them, so was toying with the idea of getting some gravity versions.

Also looking at the new Specialized Butcher and Eliminator Radials, but a bit heavier than these Maxxis I think?

I’ll give these a run out in the place I’ll be mainly riding the bike and go from there.

Nice bike 👍
I've got the crafty RR with a power pack and really liking the way it rides 👍 The fox float shock was a bit bouncy and once I had added plenty of compression from the recommend settings it made the bike quite stable 👍

You sir, are a man of fine taste! Orange is the best color and the Schwalbe radials are excellent (although quick-wearing) tires.
