Majority of people would disagree with you. You're strictly pulling from your own personal unique requirements. I'm speaking from a general view point. The salsa has been documented on here to be under 48lbs with the right parts. 625wh for most people is plenty with a gen5. You could get over 6k vert with that battery size. Deore 4 pistons are better than any trouble some sram brakes with plenty of power. I dunno about you but i've never ran the tires that came on any new bike. I have nothing against Marin, I liked my last Alpine trail a lot. This new bike is a turd. There's better options for some ones first ebike.Do they come with an easy user removeable battery?
