Hi,
I am particpating in the London to Paris 300 mile cycle ride for the Royal British Legion in September. I will be riding a Trek Domane+ slr7 Project One
On route we vist three towns that the British Liberated in the 2nd WW and it is an emotional journey. In each town we pay homage to fallen comrads.
The towns are Calais, Abberville and Beauvais, then finally Paris where we ride down the Champs Elysee on closed road. It is the only time that happens apart from the Tour De France.
I am an Royal Navy veteran and the RBL supported me when I left the navy due to an injury I received whilst serving. This is ride to to pay back for their help.
