Hello from lovely dry and sunny Ireland

Recently build the D01 frame from Changzhou Fieldbikes shop.

Frame:
It is 2022 design with removable battery, also known as Tosa Boar. It is nicely made, have had a few minor issues with it but overall happy with it.

Components:
-Brakes - 4 pot from Ali, look very similar to Hope ones
-Fork - Zeb 170mm with Rush damper
-Shock - 210x55 Bomber CR
-Dropper post - e13 180mm dropper, slammed all the way down, shimmed to 175mm (my height is 184cm)
-Handlebar - Shirka 55mm rise - Ali
-Battery - DIY 14S3P Samsung 58E 5330mA, about 820Wh, M510-->48V firmware - NKON
-Tires - Schwalbe Albert 2.6'' and 2.5'' radial gravity casing
-Wheels - koozer 450 hubs, ex511 rims, brass nipples, Sapim race/D-light spokes (2.2kG set)
-Drivetrain - Linkglide 11s
-Pedals - Ali

Solid bike I must say, a bit on a heavy side (24,5kg no pedals). Battery is mounted as low as possible, to keep the center of gravity in the right spot. It does feel nimble and easy to ride. There is an option to mount 14S4P which will be 1100Wh.
Despite the weight, bike is very easy to maneuver, corners and small jumps are like piece of cake. For now just done about 40km/850m with 81% battery left on the clock. Rode mostly on Eco (tuned to 20% of max power). For the first 20km battery was showing 100% (one-UP battery).

M510 motor is smooth and quiet. Does rattle a little bit when going down the trail, but less than M820 I have in other bike.
Will come up with more updates later on.

Regards

Gave it a nice little wack over the weekend.
So far so good, bike is very quiet, surprisingly nimble (probably due low DIY battery placement). I feel a nice balance when do pumps and jumps. Frame feels solid with very little flex. After about 80km all the bolts were tight, no loose headset etc.
When taking sharp corners bike feels light and easily goes where I would like it to go.
Only moment I feel the bike is heavy - lifting it.

What could be better ?
-Dropper post insertion and seat tube length combo are limiting dropper post to 160mm at my height about 184cm.
-Limited option to fit air shock. The rocker link catches the top cap of the most of the air shocks so mostly frame will be for coil shocks.

Overall happy.

How are the frog wake brakes?

How are the frog wake brakes?
Hi
What I like is the nice adjustment, so You can get the both leavers to feel exactly the same.
Definitely there is more fore required to stop than shimnao with servowave but I can control the brakes with one finger no problem. The metal brake pads are like to get noisy, I would replace them with something better.
For the price i think they are OK.

Hi. Could you please show me in detail how you secured the battery cover and the battery itself inside the frame?
