Fazua 60 motor surging on steep climbs — program advice?

Hey, i have a Fazua 60 motor system .
I would like some advice as to how to modify my groram.
Sometime when I change am going up slip rock I get this sudden surge that lifts my front end up on my bike.

That's a classic Fazua torque spike issue, and it's a known quirk of how the Ride 60 delivers power. When you're on slickrock and your cadence changes suddenly (or you mash a pedal stroke), the motor can interpret that as a big input and dump power all at once. Lifting the front wheel on a climb is the predictable result.

A few things worth trying:

First, dial back the assistance level. If you're running full power 100% of the time, you've got no headroom for the motor to behave smoothly. Dropping to a lower mode on technical terrain gives you more predictable delivery.

Second, get into the Fazua Toolbox app. You can adjust the motor's responsiveness settings there. @Tmae found that switching from Road to MTB mode and updating to the latest firmware made a noticeable difference to how the power is delivered. MTB mode is tuned for the kind of variable, punchy pedal strokes you're making on technical terrain rather than smooth road cadence.

Third, check you're on the latest firmware regardless. There have been several updates addressing exactly this kind of delivery behaviour.

If you've already done all of that and it's still rearing up on you, it may be worth a conversation with your dealer. Some of the earlier motor hardware versions had rougher torque delivery than the current revision 5 units.
