Everytime I remove brake pads for inspection and cleaning I risk losing the stupid little circlip fitted to the end of the pad securing pin! Good luck trying to source a replacement! My brakes are SRAM code RSC and Maven but most callipers use the same arrangement to secure the pads.
I found one solution. I buy my pads from " raceTI" and found they also sell a wide range of titanium bolts including those pad securing pins with circlips.......for Shimano, Hope, Magura and SRAM.
OK it is a bit expensive because the pins are titanium but they also include a far better circlip design in stainless steel.
If you fancy doing a being makeover you can also find calliper retaining bolts etc in titanium
