How to connect Shimano SC-E5000

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2nd hand Orbea Urrun 30 that has the Shimano SC-E5000 Control / computer. I understand that this unit does not have blue tooth connectivity. Does anyone know if I can connect with a SM-PCE02 PC link and use the Shimano Steps App through my laptop ? Does the wire going into the control unit pull out to allow a Y connector to be installed as I can see any other ports on the control unit that would accept an additional lead . Many Thanks
