I’m looking to purchase a new Vala and was wondering what discounts I should be looking at from a local bike shop in the UK?

Anyone have recent experiences?

Depends how old the stock is, if the models are being updated etc.

If you get one in the price range from your local shop, happy days. Don't be fooled into thinking your local shop is going to give £1000's off because you asked for it. That said, there are a lot of deals about, but could just be odd sizes,colours,spec.

I'm going to make a wild stab in the dark and assume that if the OP is asking about a Vala they almost certainly don't want a motorbike that will require tax, insurance, MOT, a licence and furthermore can't be used legally on most of the MTB trails in the UK. Happy to be corrected of course.

Santacruz were pushing the Vala on their socials this last week, perhaps trying to move on some overstock ?
Could be an opportunity to pick one up if your paying full upfront.

Most of the online shops all have them marked down around £1000-1500 off retail. I would think you could do slightly better than that if you know someone at your local SC dealer.
