Anyone tried this extender for Avinox? How legit?
I have had one of the 425 wh Spanish ones for my Amflow over 4 months now. It’s been tried and tested in all weathers, particularly the wet and cold. Works fine with a few quirks. There’s many doubters saying It won’t work, will ruin your motor and expressing safety concerns but I find it works well and has had no negative affect. It will no doubt void your warranty but for my mind worth every penny of the £560 total cost (includes customs charges et all). My bike is a year old now and I am less concerned with warranty issues. I ride with a group which includes Levo 4’s fitted with their own manufacturers extender batteries and it compares favourably with them.
The main quirks identified are
1)Works in tandem only so both batteries have to be the same charge (100%). Won’t work if they are at different levels. They stay in tandem with their charge levels throughout the ride working as one battery.
2)The waterproof casing has no wiring gromit so connecting wire exits through zip. Can have minor water ingress into the extender battery casing but never been any issue.
3) The bike must be switched on before switching on the extender and the extender switched off before switching off the bike.
I am the first to admit I’m not techy and no doubt some will dis this post but I’m only passing on my own positive experience having taken the plunge.

Let see some pics.

These are just what I have in my photo album. I will take some of the extender itself and post them Sunday night or Monday when I’m back home
