Go back and read the OP, his first point is literally named "the missing 100nm update" so he is talking about why G4 drives don't get 100nm.

Everyone else on G4 drives on this post has noted that EMTB+ is stronger. So you feel your race mode is weaker... not much you can do when its all based on "feels"

I updated and rode last weekend and thought there was no change in any mode apart from the stronger 400% in EMTB+ I switched between EMTB and EMTB+ and there was a definite improvement climbing and overrun.

If i was a Tibetan man i'd lay some money down that its purely a marketing decision that gen4 has not been given the 100nm.

Got an older bosch.... hard luck, buy a new bike if ya want 100nm.
Gen 5 is still for sale on new bikes so they need to compete with DJI on the new sales. Old past revisions. Well, just like ya laptop or cell ph or TV or any technology, its out of date 5 minutes after you buy it.....

Don't expect performance updates for free when you should be going out and buying a new bike like good little consumers..........
 
When a company has enough success, the enshittifiction starts. You see it with levo software locks and bosch. Shimano is a relic motor so nothing is happening there but I fully expect avinox to enshittify in some years but until then it's the motor to go with unless we see some massive amounts of failures.
