Hi all, I thought I'd share some pictures of what I ordered from Alibaba and a little bit about myself.
I'm 53 yr old and am still recovering from multiple surgeries I had a few years back.
To cut it short I had to get a bike and all the bikes I liked were way out of my price range so I ordered the cyctrac em19 fram Alibaba. Hopefully it will be a good buy, I'm still putting it together.

Congratulations on the new bike. Be sure and keep us informed on how it rides.

I had to look up the model that you purchased, I assume it is like the one I see on this ad
CYCTRAC EM19 – CARBON FRAME ELETRIC High-Performance eMTB
Yeah seems to be the same bike but I'm not sure if its same exactly as what I have and I paid 2150 usd.
Also I got size 18 I they said it was the largest and it's a full 29r not a mullet as I had thought.
The tyres are maxxis and kinda sticky and 2.4 size which is good because I thought they were going to be 2.1

I took it for a test ride today, I went through all the bafang modes but didn't notice a difference in power in fact it doesn't seem to have alot of power from my first time ever riding an emtb impression.
I'm also new to suspension on bikes so I need to work out how the dnm and rockshox work.
heres a pic in the sun I hope.

Nice bike. Is that a cemetery in the background?😉

CYCTRAC is a company registered in Shenzhen. I've inquired with them, and they seem to sell bicycles with carbon fiber frames, not aluminum. The bafang M820 motor is lightweight and efficient, but for even greater performance, you should opt for an M560 one. Although I'm also in Shenzhen, they're not willing to go cheap for locals. Their parts are universal, and most parts can be maintained and replaced, and most issues can be resolved by local bike shops or DIY. I'm curious about your purchase price, but anyway I think it's a good deal.

Nice, please if you happen to know any other supplier that offers a great deal, could you let me or let us know here? Ebikes are expensive here in Mexico, thought I'd find a better deal getting one from Shenzhen, but don't know where to look for. Thank you.

I just purchased a hardtail EM5 from Alibaba, price was $2200usd for the bike (highest config with wireless shifting etc), extra battery, shipping, and hopefully taxes/duty. It still is in transit so will report back when it arrives. I purchased from Shenzen First Technology store on Alibaba.

I am planning to get this EM19 (Size small 27.5). The only thing that holding me is the 200 x 55 rearshock as I want to upgrade it as soon as it lands. But it seems it's hard to find a good 200x55 shock. Keep on seeing 210 x 55. I can't confirm the size as there are no manufacturer sheet to see size compatibility. Otherwise such a great deal for $2800 AUD.

I have a similar Cyctrac EM19. Do you also get a squeaking metallic grinding noise when you step on it under load? I've been trying to locate it but haven't been able to.

Hi, I was wondering if you've found any rear shock absorbers for this bike.

I liked my EM5 so much I ordered an EM10 last week. I was able to order with a Rockshox Deluxe Select+ for a couple extrq bucks, which Sam from Shenzen First told me needed a slightly different frame, so I'm assuming it comes in a more conventional size. I will update the thread when it gets here.
