Hi everyone!
First of all, sorry for the language – I’m writing this through a translator.
Recently, I needed to replace my front chainring because after installing a new chain, it wasn't disengaging properly from the bottom part of the ring due to wear.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a 32T chainring in my country, so I decided to try a 34T instead. I was worried it might not fit, since the clearance with the chainstay is very tight there. But it turned out fine — the 34T fit perfectly, with minimal clearance remaining. A 36T definitely wouldn’t fit though. The part number for the 34T chainring is: CR4UPA-106
I also updated the chainring size in the app — not sure if it’s necessary, but it doesn’t hurt.
By the way, in the same app I changed the region to the USA and now have a 32 km/h speed limit instead of 25 km/h, which I’m really happy about. It cost me €20. You can do this on any bike with a Shimano EP800 motor or lower.
