I have a Transition Repeater Powertrain.

Amazing motor , amazing bike, amazing feel, perfect for the PNW trails, however, now and then when I stop pedaling on a descend or up and down a pedal section, and I start pedaling again, initially there is no assist and then it catches, but that ruins the flow totally.
It has like a dead spot, happens using Auto shift and also with Auto shift disabled.

Its not the speed, this is on single track, tight and techy, speed is 10mph at the most.

It happened since new, then my motor developed a noise (bearings) and got replaced, same things happens with the new motor.

Did the software update, still doing it.
Apart from this issue Powertrain is amazing.
Anyone with this issue?

Yeah.... Happens to mine quite often. Mostly climbing and hitting a tight switchback, a slight backing off the power to negotiate the turn and then zero assist for enough time to cause a stall. Caught me off guard many times. Can hear my Levo mates behind me snicker as I curse and almost dab.

My assumption is the PT software has been tuned opposite of what Spesh have done with their higher initial response value(which is also user tuneable) to mitigate premature sprag and belt wear from the snappy/jerky motor engagement.

I wished Sram would have released software/tuning updates by now, but clearly they have minimal interest in improving on the current Brose setup.

I have the same transmission on my Gas Gas ECC6, pretty sure it takes about a quarter turn of the cranks before the motor gives drive. mine still engages power pretty smoothly though so its hardly noticeable unless you've stopped half way up a steep climb.
