My merida e160 500 ebike charger cover I'm not sure what to do now as I have looked at the merida e160 500 parts and couldn't find anything on the merida store for my exact bike and I looked at ebay to find any but couldn't I need help and advice on what I should do or any websites that do sell the exact item to fix this problem. The bike also has 9 months warranty so I'm not sure if that will help if I can't find the part.

Difficult to see because the picture is blurred. But I cannot help you with a link anyway, so the only advice I can give is to ask your local dealer. They are sure to have one or be able to get one.

Hi Ethan.
I can’t help your situation but the charger door on the Trek Rail is pretty flimsy also. I’ve managed to keep it functioning but I did expect to install a new cover.

Contact Merida direct for help. If all efforts to get a replacement fail make your own cover using a piece of neoprene fixed to the frame with strips of hd adhesive velcro. Regardless of whether the charger cover on any bike I buy is OK or not I additional make a neoprene cover for it.

Thanks for responding I will try find the part if not I will figure fixing the two sides of where it broke off that was holding it in place.

Thank you so much Astro66 I've been trying to find the part for ages your such a legend thanks mate 👍

Did you look at the connection link I provided. The plug needs the communication connections, which only come with the Shimano plug.

Indeed I did have a look. Unfortunately you cannot really see what kind of connection it is due to the quality of the pictures provided If you can see enough to confirm that it is a Shimano plug with proprietary comm's, then that's good info. The point I was trying to make is, there is no port that can justify a $109.00 price tag in my opinion. EG, that plug is listed on Amazon for $56.00. If Ethan has the ability to post some better pic's then it may be results in some more precise guidance.

I assumed Ethan was in Victor Harbour South Australia. The price at Pushy's, (An Australian Retailer) was AUD$80 but it's just out of stock at the moment. On Amazon that plug is AUD$92.

For AUD$80. I would just get the Shimano plug as tampering with the wire harness, and the Shimano Charger plug, really is not advisable. But that's me.
