160mm fork on Levo FSR 2018?

Gonna change the Reba on my Levo FSR Base 2018 to a Yari RC 160 mm. Hope that is a wise choice?

Anyone know if the crown race on the reba is pressed or easily removable so I can use it on the Yari?

it will be removable, if its split its easily removed with your fingers, if its not there is an indent in the fork crown where you can insert a small flat bladed screwdriver and very carefully prise it off.

Thanks! Changed the topic as I am getting second thoughts about fork length. I only have two rides on my Levo but feel that when going upwards it is a little light in the front. The Yari 160 is 16mm taller than the Reba 150. Plan to ride almost only with 29er wheels.

Should I buy a 150 mm or 160 mm new fork?

I got 160 lyrics on mine i really like it

If you are going to change the forks go the whole hog and get some Lyrik RC2's, more dollar but so worth it.

I now I should but had an idea to not to spend too much on e-bike. Bought a 2018 on sale but now with dropper, fork and so on it is getting the usual way . I found a 2018 Yari real cheap (€499) so I think I will buy it. If I get it right I can upgrade it with a RC2 damper if I want to and it will be the same as a Lyrik?

I'm thinking about upgrading too, what makes the Lyric RC2 so good?

After exploring more after R120´s suggestion about Lyrik RC2 I want that instead... Where in Europe can I find a 2019 Lyrik RC2 29 160mm at a god price?

At God price, only the Vatican - i think CRC has them the cheapest online for a good price, but one of the big German online retailers may also

Longer fork will make the front even lighter as your weight moves more towards the rear (seat tube angle is slacker). You may or may not notice the difference. But the Lyrik is way more better for than the Reba so it's worth the change

I went with the Lyrik RC2 160mm on my 2019, added 1 token from stock...best thing ever. Definitely worth it and barely notice it being more slack at all.

This is down to rider more than the bike. Bikes don't lift/unweight at the front all by themselves. So if it is lifting your body position and weight distribution are off. While seated bending your elbows slightly more and leaning your torso forwards are all that's needed to balance the weight. I bet it doesn't really happen while you're standing? This is because almost all your weight is going through the BB and any that isn't is going through the bars to hold your bodyposition. When seated if your wheel lifts you're (perhaps unbeknown to you) pulling on the bars..Think about it. It wouldn't lift riding no handed would it?

Anyway. if your bars are at the correct height and you fit a longer fork you should always compensate for the raised front end height by lowering your stem as well. Not necessarily lowering it by the full extra length of the fork as sag/H/A mean when riding your stack height won't actually be 16mm higher with a 16mm longer axle to crown fork.
