Is that with the 700Wh battery?
I just ordered mine in Texas and it was end of November. BUT I got the Comp Carbon in blue and the other color (red?) was supposed to be coming in December. So depending on the model and color the delivery dates could vary.
Largest 29er would be 2.8 but it would be close, mud buildup might be an issue.
US Max speed 20mph 32km/hr- so Canada I guess will be 20mph also.
Thats what my dealer told me as well here in the UK. I took one of the bikes he had ordered in Carbon/Green as the Grey/red (which looks blue to me) was realistically the beginning of next year.

Comp has the 500Wh battery the Expert has the 700Wh which is ~1kg heavier.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the fork that is on the entry model, right?

The 32mm stanchion with 150mm travel is like spaghetti... it's not for a 22kg 29" ebike... same with the Level T brakes.
As a beginner nothing would be wrong with it. It would be flexy for a guy like me and not high end enough for bike snobs.

i have no clue about bike components, but for 4,5k Euros i expect some high end bike ? especially for beginners?!
It's good for beginners to put them on the upgrade path. Buy the cheapest crap and upgrade it to a proper one in a year... Better to buy a Comp if somebody wants to enjoy the riding even if he/she is a beginner.
I was stuck and still am on my 1st ebike decisions...components did confuse me and along with prices of bikes. I've sort of chosen to look back into possibly 2018 levo as there maybe some deals to be had and dealer network plus blevo app seems very usable for my plans .
But then I like other bikes also.

Thok....for a novice like myself It's a case of trying to see what fits yourself better ...I appreciate customer support and as such have it high on my list....if I lived near berkshire cycles no doubt I'd already own a bike

Well, you have to look something other than Specialized if you expect some high end components on a 4,5k€ bike. The 5,7k€ Comp has nothing high-end but perfectly acceptable specs on a 150mm travel ebike.
If support is important then look around what brands are available in acceptable distance from you. Levo is a good choice - even the 2018 - but I would stay away from the base model.
okay thanks, mate. good to know... i like specialized and the design of the levo, so maybe i will buy the comp over the base model.
is the carbon model worth the price compared to the comp?
+1 for NO... same parts except the Fox entry level suspension instead of RockShox but in practice, they are the same.

So I just did a little test ride on this one. Motor pulls like a regular bike. Not as instant as Yamaha. Halfway thru about 20 minutes everything shut off and I rode for about 5 with no power. It came back on with button after. Told shop when I returned. All the shop guys still hadn’t ridden it. When shut off and above 20 mph it rode really nice. Flats and small hills would be fine. No drag at all. I’ve demoed a few bikes and have a new giant e trance sx on order. This is the only silent bike motor. Absolutely no noise I could hear but in suburbia so in the quiet bike area may have a little. It handled awesome in the little I could try things. It was way to big for me but they only had a S and L. I took the L. I’m a med but small needed software update. They are available and was told expert in Nov...S works Jan
Well, my first condition was Hyper yellow/green color, which thankfully they deliver with Entry model. So basically the main difference to the Comp model are breaks and front fork, right? Saddle and rear derailleur not worth mentioning. I don't need Dropper post, don't ask me why, just look at my avatar.
So if we do the math, what can I buy for 1.200 EUR that I saved not buying Comp?
Better breaks SRAM CODE R set(244 EUR), better fork RockShox Pike RCT3 (699 EUR), better rear derailleur SRAM X1 (144 EUR) and I still have money to spare, especially if I sell the original components, wouldn't you agree or am I missing something?
Which fork would you then recommend, if we go that road in the future ?

Serious question - why would you spend the money on the Specialised when you can get a better spec bike for same money from another manufacturer? Interested to know.
I only ask because if i was looking at a basic but good starting EMTB, for me in the levo range i would be looking at a comp, where you are getting a cracking bike, which whilst on the expensive side is a well resolved package of parts, whereas with the basic bike i cant really see the point unless you really want a specialised/love the looks.
And even if you have never ridden or used a droper post, it is the one thing i would never not have on an MTB, i would compare not having one to using flat pedals on a road bike!

Well, if you don't need a dropper then I guess you won't ride it on places that require a 150mm fully. That's all good and in that case, the Sektor fork, and the Level T brakes are sufficient no need to upgrade.
