Did you register at Registration ? Seems like they want a bunch of data, in germany specifically VAT / tax number. I'd really like to get this working as well. 😅
Wondering if they check the info at all or could just enter some bullshit.
Thanks for all the info mate. Is it possible to register as a non-dealer? You need the software in addition to the dongle, right? Was considering buying the dongle myself since I really can't be arsed going to the shop for updates, they are super slow here sadly.
Cheers ordered one of these and a cheap toopre internal cable routing kit. I think @volts is correct though, would have to cut the old hose down at the caliper so I can pull the new one through. I'll have to check how strong the magnets of the routing kit are, using this barb connector is...
Is there anything I should take into account when swapping out brakes, especially running the rear brake hose? Should I drop out the motor or is it possible to run as is? Going from the Code R to Dominion A4 which have a bit bigger hose diameter compared to sram / shimano.
Happy Xmas Guys! Question to the ones riding mullet - what tire combination are you riding? I'll probably replace the stock tires with trusty DHR2 MaxxTerra (back) / Assegai MaxxGrip (front) combo, but a bit unsure about the width. Stick to 2.4/2.4 or maybe 2.4/2.5(front)?
Does someone here know whether it's possible to simply pull out the dropper cable + housing? Or does this require taking out battery & other stuff?
Cheers
Holy shit haha, hope you're doing okay. Yea that shock would've most definitely bottomed out. 😄
Thanks a lot for the input though, I guess it'll be fine then. Mino-link position also shouldn't change the bottom out clearance from a few posts I've seen here.
The sag indicator was pretty much all the way at the top, so full stroke. Measured 63-64mm-ish, a bit hard to reach with a vernier caliper. Now keep in mind that is fully deflated with me pressing down on the saddle (mino-link on low). Don't know whether this is actually realistic in a real...
@Emailsucks98 Do you happen to know the height of the bottom out bumper in the ttx1 air? Couldn't really find any info on that and haven't opened the shock yet. I'm having about 3-4mm clearance when the shock is fully deflated / compressed. Kinda undecided atm. whether I want to the risk or not. 😅
FML installed new rear shock, fastened one side of the upper bolts with 17nm as per manual, did the other side - head of the bolt sheared straight off without the torque wrench getting close to 17nm.
