Have you checked if the cracks are actually in the carbon or if it's just the paint that has cracked?

Using an old smartphone I had lying around as a bike computer. As I have a 3D printer a printed a case for it with a lock I based on the garmin edge. At first I had it stem mounted as a top cap, but made a holder for it that I mounted to the top tube with double sided tape that I like better.

Emax software is easy and I have set both Ep6 and EP801 to US class 3 without problems.

But the topcap is only to add preload to the headset bearings. As soon as you have tightened the stem bolts the topcap has no other function than an ornament and a cap for the hole in the steerer tube.

That's what I'm running at the moment and loving it so far.

Yeah with US Class 3 you can't change views on the em800 display for some reason. You would have to change to the 600 display and if you do that you also need the 600 switch and that is not exactly cheap.

That´s what I just ordered. A Shredda rear for a front tire and a Magic Mary Gravity soft for the rear. It´s mostly soft around here but a few roots and rock gardens as well. I have no doubt this combo will work really good in 90% of my riding, but it will be interesting to see how it holds up...

I did take a close look at these, but decided to just drill out my rims for Schrader/AV valves.
